  • a 4 jaw chuck would be better, then you can indicate off the mandril, and get everything squared up.

you do not need to measure the "Distance between the torque shoulders" as you can install barrels without their use, using only one.

and Yes, these videos are about the process as a whole, NOT a DIY project.

  • I dont have Thousands of dollars worth of equiptment but i still make gunsmithing look easy. check out my videos all done as a hobby not as a profesionl. alot of tools i made my self. and yes i am a customer of Larrys. he sells good barrels and stocks.

  • Every Midway USA video has a bunch of comments whining about the fact that Larry uses expensive specialty tools, and I don't get it. That's what this channel is about. These videos aren't instructional, they're informative. Sit back and see how stuff is done that you don't know how to do.

And THAT'S the way it is.

  • you know, if i had thousands of dollars of equipment at my desposal, id make this look easy too

  • I wish I had the tools to do this :(

  • "Get Reciver" (ok, I'm With Ya,) "Secure It Into a Vise" (Still Followin') "Get a Depth Micrometer" (ya lost me...)

  • Well then, might be a good opportunity to "Get Receiver", "Take to Gunsmith", "Pick Up Rifle Two Weeks Later" and have them do a nice job on it.

  • Neat.

  • and that's the way it is.

  • new midway usa vids!!!!

    yay
