I have always wanted to know how the vl 1 goes and how low. I had a keyboard that sounded like this with kermit the frog on it that went down to a medium low G and up to a medium hi B.
This one would take about 2 hours, including the sides. The new S-CAT 10-mod VL-1 would take around 8 hours to complete at a steady pace but could be done in around 4.
Sorry but we could not recommend any site for circuit bending Casios as we always just oen up the machines and find things out for ourselves, we tried a few yeas ago with other peoples findings but were never happy with the results.
i'd suggest everyone who wants to learn how to bend casio vl-tones to google for "circuit benders forum uk" without quotes, as they have a tone of info about stuff other than vl-tones and vl-tones included. and UNLIKE THE VIDEO POSTER THEY SHARE THE PLANS EVEN OF STUFF THAT THEY SELL, AS DO ALMOST ALL CIRCUIT BENDERS, ITS COMMON PRACTICE TO DO SO AND THE VIDEO POSTER IS JUST BEING GREEDY, HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE ART OF CIRCUIT BENDING OR ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO CIRCUIT BEND HE CARES ABOUT CASH.
since this really a 1 vco analog synth, i'd say this isnt "bending " by definition.. this more like professional calculated modification! and it came out AWESOME!!!!! nice video!
We jumped wires from resistors to capacitors inside the unit and then fitted a switch in between them. ADSR is best when you keep inputting random numbers, so sorry we do not have any written down to give to you.
is this suppose to be some new kind of music, CAUSE IT'S REALLY BORING LAME.

@oldschoolhunter No it is not supposed to be a new kind of music, it is a demonstration of a circuit bent Casio VL-1.
