The spectacular catch is all about your recievers awareness and catch. And as for the espn 2k comment, madden bought the rights to the names of nfl players, so espn couldn't use names. Pissed me off cuz i loved espn 2k5.

It brought new aspects to games, like you had to tap the sprint button fast to sprint fast, almost a "who wants it more" factor, and you could build up for power and finesse moves. I personally still think it's the greatest football game to date, but I'm loyal to Madden too.
