i just creamed my pants.....he makes me so proud, i wish i had started playing drums at that age(but then again i was a little snot and i wouldn't have had the patience lol) i've been told by my drum teacher that i have progressed faster than any student he's ever had, but i only started at 14 :( ohh well, i play for my own enjoyment.....i like the mysteries of rhythm, like how you can add one little accent and it will make it feel like the tempo speeds up, or things like clapping music!

I really like that his parents supported his talent & document his maturing as a musician. He really takes off at age 9, @11 he's a killer & you can hear his individuality +Neil Peart school. In Africa we don' believe you're a drummer just cuz you get a drum/kit and hit it. This Tyler IS a drummer. This is hilarious. I just watched a video by Joey from Slipknot (not a fan) playing a drum solo in front of thousands of people and he was rocking the bass pedal. This young man's drum solo at the very end of the video sounded just as FAST but much more creative than his. This kid is phenomenal.
