My friends have not read comics for a long time, but when I showed them the Spider-Woman Motion Comic & Astonishing X-Men Motion Comic trailer they really liked it. Both said they would watch them.

I think this is a great way to let fans who don't normally read comics get to see them instead.

the quartz blocks his eye beams. he would have to take his contacts out everytime he would want to shoot his beams. the glasses are actually more convenient in that way, cause he can just take them off if he needs to blast some sh*t.

Probably. That's honestly the most surprising thing in my opinion, in that Marvel hasn't come up with some fantastical way for Cyclops and other mutants to control their powers more easily. It probably wouldn't be as dramatic if it were always that easy though.

I'd heard Rogue gained control of her powers. If true I'm not sure that was a good idea from a story perspective. Rogue's angst over that is part of what made her so interesting.

The reason why Cyclops won't just wear contact lenses is that the "Energy Beam'' doesn't just come from his iris (contact lenses cover only the iris part of the eyes) but from his entire eyes... therefore it would be useless for him to just wear contacts, cause they'd probably disintegrate and would not cover his entire eyes...

though it would have been cool to see cyclops that way.

Think I can give a decent opinion now: the music doesn't suck because it has a beat and a tune that can stick in your head. As for this whole motion comic thing, I don't have room to go into detail, so I'll just say the inconsistant quality of the animation bugs me; and whoever edited this needs to be slapped until they stop playing with the mirror and rotate functions. That said, this might be a good way to show us the stories we'll probably never buy the comics for. Even though Joss wrote it.
