Very interesting and well presented. I've been to Abercrombie Caves - it's a beautiful place. Must go again - such an interesting history.

why would they ignore the Kelly's, a much more famous gang?

There were more interesting bush rangers than just Ned Kelly. Also, Ned Kelly didn't use caves.

I saw the whole episode. He didn't do his history research very well. Melbourne became rich through gold not Sydney. This guy should stick his anti-British bias up his yankee arse.

It's all relative really. Sydney's gold was found first. But Victoria had much more of it and a much larger gold rush. So did far north Queensland, and to a less extent, the extreme south coast of NSW.
