Beautiful. I might get a broken model 2 from my city. They said they're gonna take a working one and disable it for me, because they're afraid I might cause panic with it, but they're not removing them for a year. Plus, I may have to pay for it, and I wouldn't want to pay more than $100 for a broken one.

this reminds me of Hackensack, NJ and Barnegat, NJ's noon whistles(although Hackensack's is a Whelen, and Barnegat has a Sentry and a Federal that are about 1/4 mile away from each other.). New York City actually has one of these as a noon whistle.
