  • keep up with these kind of video . I see how far people will go to make you do what they want . Not what is right. McCain is the right man for the job.

    Thanks for the video.

  • McCain, the best politician money can buy !

  • Look.. the creep tried to get all the way into your frackin bodybrain by trying to take your DHEA by putting it under Big Pharma & FDA control! What else are sheeple begging the wing nutter career wanktards to do to them?

Btw, Petition to Reform the FDA

    reformFDA(.)org

  • My fellow Americans, we talking about the US military. Instead of an American company, Boeing, getting the contract, McCain helped a French company, that's French, as in from FRANCE, get the contract, sending not only US jobs overseas, but also placing our national defense, our security, in the hands of the French.... Thanks to John McCain we now get military refueling tankers from France... That's sad. Thousands of US jobs, billions of dollars, sent to France... A Keating 5 special by McCain...

  • McCain 2008. Regardless of which airplane company got the contract, this is the presidency of the United States and airplanes are not a big issue. I don't even know if this video was supposed to help or hurt McCain. Maybe it is just something informative.

  • Are you kidding me. Bush and McCain have been selling off our country left and right. These crooked trade deals are the reason thousands of Americans are out of work. Bush gets oil from Mexico, and he leaves the borders open for the Mexicans to take our jobs. Canada gives us oil, and they get our jobs. China lends us money to fight a war for oil, and they get our jobs. Bush gives U.S. companies massive tax breaks to move overseas and use cheap labor. China is what the U.S used to be. It's a joke

  • mccain admits he knows little about the economy, so like bush he has hired the best qualified econimic advisers, these three men all woked to pass the enron loophole, that deregulated the energy sector. futures trading on falsely reported electric needs caused the crash, mccain now says enron was the cause of high oil prices, ie futures trading n oil, so his experts on the economy are the very ones who created the loophole that is robbing us all, he also has voted 2 times to not close loophole!

  • John McCain believes that he has earned the position of President of the United States. He thinks that because he has served over 26 years in the US Senate and was a Vietnam POW, that somehow he is entitled. Once enlighten Americans begin to look at his overall record, they will understand that he is just another Washington lawyer who is trying to get as much money and position as he can, at the expense of the hard working working Americans. He will say anything now to get their votes.

  • McCain is a looser. He flip flops so much a fish would have a hard time keeping up with him. One thing McCain has over a fish is that he stinks more.

  • Nice lying through innuendo: note how they don't actually say that McCain intervened FOR Airbus, since, in fact, he DID NOT. But they want you to think he did, because they are liars.

  • Uh, yeah he did.

  • You're ignorant, or lying.

  • McCain argued that he was simply opposed to the no-bid process. Sounds good, who can argue with that, But McCain does NOTHING unless it is brought to him by lobbyists. It started with Keating (who got McCain his seat) and the S&L scandal, continued with the telecommunications act and carries right on with his campaign, staffed completely with lobbyists.

McCain is the liar. And if you are unaware of that fact, you are ignorant.

  • OK, so you admit you were lying: you have no evidence he did anything for Airbus. Further, you're lying when you say he does nothing without lobbyists, and you're lying when you say his campaign is staffed completely by lobbyists.

You obviously are too emotional about this to be rational and honest. I wish you well.

  • Simple statements of fact are devoid of emotion. What of MCain's relationship to Charles Keating? And his "cozy" arrangement with a telecommunication lobbyist. Oh, and his violating the campaign finance law that he co-sponsored. See, you don't win an argument by just calling someone a liar. That is emotional. I apparently know more about John McCain that you. That's unfortunate since you seem to be a supporter. A responsible person looks into his candidates record, not just what he says.

  • You didn't MAKE "simple statements of fact." You said he did things for Airbus, but that is your unsubstantiated belief, not a fact you have evidence for. You said he does nothing without lobbyists, which is obviously untrue. And you said his campaign is staffed completely by lobbyists, which is verifiably false.

They were not statements of fact. They were lies. If emotion is not your excuse for lying, then what is?

  • I did not say he did things for Airbus. I said he would have never stepped in if his aides, i.e. lobbyists, hadn't brought it to his attention. You cannot change history. Keating? The telecommunications bill? His campaign finance fraud where he took out a loan based on his taking federal campaign financing, then refusing to go along after he received the money. And he sponsored the damn bill! And who exactly does Charles Black represent?

  • You're lying. I said "they don't actually say that McCain intervened FOR Airbus, since, in fact, he DID NOT." You replied, "Uh, yeah he did." You did say he did things for Airbus.

And you DO NOT KNOW "he would have never stepped in if lobbyists hadn't brought it to his attention." That is a lie, and so is calling all of his aides "lobbyists."

You're a liar, and you keep repeating the same lies.

And now you add a new lie: that he committed any campaign finance fraud. He followed the law.

  • He "did" something for AirBus. Whether that was his intention, who knows (chuckle). Charles Keating. The telecommunications act. And keep denying the lobbyist thing. Maybe it will come true. Oh, he followed the letter of the law, but totally showed no ethics. Of course, someone who would publicly call his wife a c*nt, has no regard for ethics. McCain is a fraud, and the country will know it before election day. And Huckabee is with Faux News. Maybe you can get Rudy back.

  • McCain=Loser=another republican mistake!

If this country wants a good leader, vote for a democrat, even a private party, but for the sake of all humanity-(even if he was a democrat((God , help us-if he was)))-the hell with McCain!!!

  • I gave it only 3 stars because it is not at all clear on HOW John McCain intervened to help the lobbyists.

  • McCain is a flipper flopper and a liar.

Vote McCain for more of the same.

    Vote Obama for CHANGE!!!!

  • Don't pay attention to the "Guilt by Association" crowd. When you look into McSames background you will see even more sinister associations i.e. Keating Five, (he was one of the 5). Many people are laughing at the rbhumes, brit humes, and sean hannity's of the world today. Their BS is catching up to them. They listen to Rush, Sean, Billo way too much. They are destroying this country with their simple minds...............

  • There are alot of concerns about McCain's mental stability. He could be suffering from Post Tramatic Syndrome from being captive in Vietnam. The sad thing is that many who are young and did not vote McCain would be fighting his crazy wars.

  • That's what we get when corporate lobbyists own Washington. Thank goodness Obama wants to put an end to this nonsense.

  • It is a fact that our elected officials allowed Airbus to get the contract that should have been keep in this country. We all should be screaming for the head's of all those that voted for this un-American "job and national security give away"!

  • Who is voting for mr mccain??

  • McCain still could win. After blowing the last two elections it wouldn't surprise me if the Dems would do it again. However, congressional races will be another matter. Even if McCain wins after the congressional bloodbath he will probably be facing a congress so overwhelmingly Democrat that it will be able to overide his vetos.

As for Obama winning the last time we elected a charismatic man running on a platform of change will little experience we wound up with the Cuban Missle Crisis...

  • rbhumes is delusional

    "McCain still could win."

    "Even if McCain wins"

"last time we elected a charismatic man running on a platform of change will little experience we wound up with the Cuban Missle Crisis..."

HUH? WTF? KENNEDY SAVED OUR ASSES BY STANDING UP TO KHRUSHCHEV

  • You really don't know much about history do you? If Kennedy hadn't botched the summit so bad with Khrushchev there probably wouldn't have been the crisis.

JFK was a very mediocre president at best. The only thing that saved the reputation of his adminstration was his death. Most of what he gets credit for was actually done by the LBJ admin.

  • The spot needs music and a stronger announcer to be effective with non wonks...

  • More Evidence McSAME is a COMPLETE LIAR!!!

  • you're comment makes no sense.

this video has nothing to do with obama.

this is MCCAIN telling every1 he's against lobbyists and all that "politics as usual" bs.

and then this just serves as another example he's full of it.

yes, obama's fund raising has proved just as bad. But the focus is on McSAME.

please don't be just a blind political party follower, who puts the party before truth.

MCSAME IS A LYING FLIPFLOPPER! CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT?

  • Yes the video is about McCain which implies that the mesiah Obama is not like McCain. Your last line applies just as much to Obama as it does to McCain!!! Except Obama isn't a liar he just likes to tell half truths ALOT!

  • we're not talking about implications.

BTW, I'm far from an Obama/McCain supporter.

  • Believe it or not we have more in common than you think. I won't vote for either on these two. The polices being promoted by either canidate will put the whole world into a deep recession.

What's funny about this video is he is the father of campaign reform. He's the reason why canidates can't receive more than $1000 at a time from any one person. I believe its called the McCain Fiengold bill.

  • Excellent - shows just ONE place where McCain has used his influence after being paid to do so!!!

  • I still say it's a three ring circus. I'm tired of voting for the lesser of evils. I'll vote Ron Paul this time and if that's not an option, I just will not vote. Hitler said it matters not who votes, but who counts the votes.

  • Boeing executives went to jail for attempting to bribe their way into getting this contract. Why no mention that we don't need these planes?

  • There are alot of concerns about McCain's mental stability. He could be suffering from Post Tramatic Syndrome from being captive in Vietnam. The sad thing is that many who are young and did not vote McCain would be fighting his crazy wars.

  • As we all know, the best thing for America is to outsource jobs to foreign corporations. Support America!

  • The contract should have gone to Boeing, it is after all an American company. However, that said, maybe Airbus came in with a lower budget? The ad is good, but we are not given any relative information as to the net cost vs. Boeing's.

  • Excellent first volley. Name his cronies and corporate paymasters and shame them.

  • Short, sweet, to the point. The soundlessness was a bit disconcerting at first but actually works well with the message after viewing a second time.

  • Good. Nice and clean. Symmetrical. The use of the blue ink is subtle, but effective. I'm typically irritated by the kitschy music in political ads, but I found the lack of a sonic background herein to be a bit unsettling.

  • This is the real straight talk.

  • "That's not change we can believe in..." - John McCain III

  • This is great. Now is the time to get this stuff out to as many people as possible. The GOP machine is already in full swing and angrier than ever!!

  • McCain is totally corrupt and run by big money. Vote for McCain and get 4 more years of how Bush trashed our economy via serving corporate interest and the military industrial war machine! Enough of this BS! Vote Obama!

  • McCain is the Manchurian candidate

  • I think McCain should keep them on his staff - that way everyone can see the true McCain - that is if they pay attention at all.

  • I wonder if Lou Dobbs will report this story? Truthful reporting might be too much to ask of him.

  • isn't it time we elected someone who isn't tied to a corporation one way or another? McCain is same old same old. It's time for a real change!

  • I wonder- have YOU have read his book?

  • Damn get spell check loser,or have someone type for you.You are too fucking stupid to read that fucking book Dumbya was reading to the kiddies on 911.

  • I'd like to think Obama is already planning to hammer McCain on this in the debates. Even when he thinks he's got a point, McCain struggles to articulate it; given his position on this is completely indefensible -- as are so many of his others -- he should really trip over himself in response.

  • lol and mccain never "talked around the questions, lol never again will we have to send our boys to the middel east, lol i get social security, congressional pension, military pension, on top of my reg pay! my wife makes 65 million a yr selling beer, he didnt take advantage of the bush tax cuts did he, and he thinks they should be permanant, he is just what this vid claims a lying, to sided, greedy, chesir cat grinning top level politition, where is this mans substance? in his pocket, lol.lol!

  • SO your answer basically agrees that Obama talks around the answer. Thank you for agreeing with me. By the way, im not too fond of Mccain.

  • MeLikeGoFast - Obama has more substance in his bowel movements than you have in your mind. Jerk!

  • Yeah your a typical Obama supporter. Well done!

  • How about all the unions who support Obama is that not the same? You liberals are hilarious.

  • No! It's not at all the same, and go ahead and respond, but this is all I have to say to you. Wouldn't waste my time on anyone who wants to label me. I'm a liberal because I support Obama. Well, you're a fucking moron.

  • MeLikeGoFast - Asshole. Better steady yourself because Obama IS going to be the President. I REALLY hope that make you miserable. Oh wait.... you are a miserable asshole. FUCK OFF!

  • I'm the miserable asshole? Your the one who sounds like you got a mouse shoved up your ass. O wait, you probably did that on purpose. Even if he wins he will still be a moron so whats your point? LOL your an ignoramus.

  • Americans calling Democrats' Liberals is funny, Democrats are so fucking far away from Liberals.

  • Only in your tiny little world. All democrats have drifted to the far left.

  • The American left is more like any other country's right, so I'm not gonna argue small worlds with you.

  • You make no sense. LOL.

  • No, he makes sense, you just can't understand it.

  • LOL your a moron and so is shmveyea. LOL

  • ooh. Good one.

  • Thanks.

  • God save us all if the people vote for "weekend at Burnie's". it WOULD be McSame~ aka Bush III!Stop the drama! VOTE Obama!

  • Gotta love it. Airbus is building better planes anyway :)

just goofin...no but really, they do :D

  • doubletalk mcbush has sold his soul for rock and roll!

  • Everybody needs to know what a "double-talker" McCain is. Share this with a friend.

  • McBush! I love it. Let's spread it around because it's so absolutely accurate and catchy.

  • I knew that was screwed up when I fist heard about the contract being lost to air bus. Now I know why it happened and, frankly, I'm not surprised.

  • I have to agree with sparkysnemesis below...this video is anemic. Its time to start digging dirt on McCain and kicking below the belt. Why would MoveOn be encouraging McCain to clean up his staff? This is an issue which should have been saved till the week before the election, and then exposed as a major character fault...

Think about hiring Karl Rove (did you know his middle name is Christian?)

  • I wish it was more "in depth". There are things that need to be exposed about the "secret adminstration" and this subject only uncovers a small part of the whole scheme.

  • Not dynamic enough. You must have something which'll make people sit up and notice and -- this doesn't. The announcer has a tepid voice; the subject matter isn't earth shattering. Compared to what the Repubs will throw your way, better make future ads more 'dynamic.'

  • Are we surprised? No.

  • it climate change that needs to be addressed right now

  • You can't win on the climate change issue alone. That's a fact. They will make documentaries using phony scientist to produce because they have access to large amounts of funding from oil. The best way now is show McCain for exactly what he is because he the media darling and it's been hands off for too long.

  • Why am I not surprised? McCain represents greedy corporate interests, as do most of the Republicans (but not all, thank goodness.) He couldn't care less, whether an American company gets a contract. He has contradicted himself so often that I wonder if he is all there! This ad is good, but there should also be an ad related to all the ways he has changed his mind in recent years.

  • All politics are the same.

  • I LIKE The straight talk line!

Just as other Republicans, McCain has unfortunatly lost his moral compass so the ad reminds him to go back and get one!

  • McCain/McSame represents four more years of Bush. Many of us have had it with Bush and of his administration's "Orwellian speak", disinformation, & preemptive, unnecessary wars. John McCain will just give us more of the same. BARACK'08, Sincerely, a 68 year old white grandmother.

  • You should stop using the phrases "straight talk" and "straight talk express"... it only legitimatizes them and John McCain in that context.

  • John McCain is no different than any other rich republican, they are only worried about each other and each other's personal wealth. Has anyone heard of any money that McCain has given away for a worthy cause? How many republicans have you ever hear of contributing to worthy humanitarian causes? Their only goal is to contribute to each other's greed.

He sure did not do anything to to create any jobs in the US by supporting Airbus. Or did he even care?

  • Someone says money is the root of all evil, and lobbyists are the source of most of all politicians' money...you can figure out the rest

  • John McCain represents corporate interests NOT the citizens of Arizona or the United States.

  • McBush's views are not the same as mine, and he certainly doesn't have the publics interest in mind.

Then again, these days, not many politicians do have the public interest in mind! Sad.

  • Hes in bed with BIG BUSSINESS,he doesn't care if our kids live or die.But don't try an get an ABORTION,he should'a been ABORTED.

  • Sickening. It is said that Bush II's "approval" ratings hovers at about 28%. That's way, way too high. And: a vote for McCain is a vote for more Pain. Barack '08 Sincerely, White Middle-Class Male Worker

  • A fairly recent count showed OVER 100 Lobbyists STILL working for McBush...

    Throw this bum OUT!

  • Anyone who considers even for an instant voting for McCain, thinking he's a good substitute for Clinton, should have their head examined. Haven't we already had enough horrors and problems in every possible way with Bush, without asking for another 4 years of the same?

  • John McCain is a vicious, greedy, wife-deserting old fraud. The sooner this greedy old coot is history, the better.

  • prysmith37 - You hit the nail on the head. McCain and straight talk..... what an oxymoron. He's the biggest phony I've seen in my life. Not to worry though, he doesn't stand a chance, that is, unless Americans lose their minds again, like they did when they elected Bush.

  • Are you sure this video didn't miss the nail completely? His fund raiser ,Rezko, just got indicted. One of his campaign workers is taking advantage of the poor when he was working with Countrywide Mortgage one of the major players in the home foreclousre debacle.

  • Hi...liked the "spot", but thought ending

weak....instead of "kicking people off the

Straigt talk express....perhaps a note to the

effect....thanks alot John McCain from number

of people who will lose work because of John

    McCains influence on this contract...

  • McCain would be Bush III. Our nation cannot afford anymore of that regime. We need to break away from the military/industrial complex which controls this nation via their spokespeople such as McCain in order to survive as a republic.

  • Corporate interests and public interests are not in any way the same. Don't vote for someone who will look out for corporate profits over helping the citizens of this country. McCain will be another 4 years of Bush.

  • What is good for McCain (and the rich) is not the same as what is good for the people. Let us vote for the good of the people instead of for the good of the rich.

  • This is McCain's way of keeping jobs in his own country!!

  • How can anyone vote for McSame
