Yes, you are correct, Rick was not on this album but I loved the song for the tribute to this awesome musician. To be honest I was not aware of that fact until after I had posted the video. That being said, I think I would have still used the song. I had noticed a lot of the other Floyd classics were used already and I personally like to use the stuff others don't. Being Rick is not on this album I feel it is kind of appropriate anyway being he will no longer be on any future recordings.

Excellent choice for the song, pictrures are beautiful. It's bands lik Floyd that make you wish we all got to live life forever. My life is better because of this band. I don't project my emotions very much, but this band has helped me to do that through understanding and the ability to relate to the lyrics of there songs. Well, I am glad you found this and My Dr. Hook vid as well. I saw these guys in 1994. No Roger Waters but an awesome show non the less. My greatest concert experience ever and I have seen over a hundred different bands. This is one of my greatest bands and it feels like a big void has been made by Ricks passing.

I know Rick was not a part of The Final Cut album but for the most part the lyrics were perfect for the tribute video. Rick was a founder and one of the longest standing members of this great band, so that was another reason I decided to use this song, it just did'nt matter. My spelling of Voyd was spelled that way of course because of Floyd. A play on words so to speak.
