@gaozhi2007 , Hm i don't know why it said that season one had 6 disc's i only seen three and on the pages in the episode guide it looks like it only went to 3, so maybe it was messed up.

that must be the UK version, the US version is in a slim white box with a lid. I do like that black box set though.

Why are the cases so big?

becuase they hold 6 discs

Here in Australia 6 discs come in a regular size DVD case. I guess they do things differently over there.

Yep season one is 3 disc, just a mis-print on the box set, 4-7 are in widescreen and i can conform they look a lot better, even on a hdtv :)

Very cool, if you like Firefly and Dollhouse then I'm sure you'll love Buffy. Though it's random how the S1 box says it's a 6 disc set, because it's only 3 discs as Season 1 only has 12 episodes. Enjoy!
