  • This kicks Cream's version up and down the street.

  • It doesnt matter that they are opening for some wannabe dork. LS are and always will be the kings of southern rock. tThe south will rise again.

  • @Webkinzarethecoolest

Of course , its SKYNYRD !

  • Thank God for The Van Zant's !!!!!!!!!! A Lynyrd Skynyrd song will be played at my Funeral!!! Amen

  • I remember the original Skynyrd lineup. There was this huge tour featuring the top rock acts in the late 70's. Whoa! there was some bull that some bands did not want to be the opening act. Well, Ronnie Van Zant lead singer of Skynyrd, told a reporter that Skynyrd did not mind being an opening act. " I want to see how they follow up FREEBIRD" smiled Ronnie!!

  • I wouldn't walk across the street to see this new, lame-ass version of "Skynyrd."

  • Apparently Skynyrd didn't have a problem with it... they are really great friends and Kid Rock has nothing but the highest respect for them. I really wouldn't worry about it~ Just enjoy the music guys.... Peace to All~ Sunshine ;)

  • I Think this is the best cover of rock and roll history. its just sick.

  • kid fukin who in the mother land lynyrd skynyrdrule dont yeall u red necks forget thatboy hahaha

  • Kid Rock is crap. To have him anyway associated with Lynyrd Skynyrd is a insult!

  • ronnie was great & ill aalways hold him in reverance but he was just a hell raisin southern boy bet he would agree remember simple man / every mothers son we lost more than ronnie that day they left 1 hell of a legacy but skynyrd didn't die eddition1 mabee but its a biusness i seenem before & after & in between r&c band still great legends be round 4evre kid rock sould count blessings hes on the way down now

  • Skynyrd died in 77

  • @fishinvic Hahaha. You funny.

  • sooooooo good!!!!

  • 3:15 to 3:30 oh my god...

  • kicks creams ass

  • @paulerny i dont think id go that far

  • @paulerny Are for real??? The Cream cover DESTROY'S this...

  • @paulerny Are for real??? The Cream cover DESTROY'S this...

  • @stella1973c shouldnt mention cream in same sentence as Ronnie Van Zant and LS, thats an insult to Skynyrd.

  • I heard this version several years ago and didn't realize LS had a live version. I thought at the time and still do, that they nailed this song as well as Clapton.

  • I WAS THERE ALL3 NIGHTS.IF YOU LIKE SKYNYRD THIS WAS UNREAL.

  • This cover is a lot like Cream's version. I love it.

  • ronnie sounds a lot like eric clapton on this one, amazing performance

  • Ronnie was one of a kind. PERIOD!!!!!! Sang straight from the heart. When I get to heaven I hope to finally meet him.

  • There hasn't been a Lynyrd Skynyrd since October 20, 1977 and there never will be again.

  • @mbritt97 affirmative!!!

  • Why does everyone have to compare everything... Robert would have been proud of this ....

  • @guitarGUNFIGHTxxx I love skynyrd and am a huge fan of Rossington, Collins, and Gaines. But I think Clapton sings and plays it better.

  • I like this but I like Eric clapton a little better.

  • 1:51

  • Ol' Spit Shine Simpson.

  • Ronnie said this was Rasberries

  • And i Agree LS was IT back n the day n they still rock 2 this day and so does Cream they all had there day it was good then and good now !!!!

  • Clapton's version was better. Clapton was the only guitarist, and sang too. He also had a much more dynamic drummer and bassist.Talkin' bout the incomparable, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce. Even Hendrix said that no one one would ever top that version, and, so far, he was correct.

  • @msaintpc LS did this as a tribute to CREAM if you have the deluxe version of "ONE MORE FROM THE ROAD" ..RVZ talks about how he, Gary and Allen sold coke bottles to get to Miami to see the BEST BAND they had ever seen live.."CREAM"...and Clapton was a hero to Allen Collins...

  • Yes SteveG, I have that and I must say L.S. did an admirable version of the Cream Classic. Let me make this clear, I'm not puttin' L.S. down. I'm one of their most ardent fans, and, I put Gains and Allen Collins up there with Jimi and Stevie Ray. Any of the afore mentioned could outplay Clapton. I'm just sayin', I liked Cream's version better. L.S. was a better band than Cream. It's this one tune I think was better by the latter. No hard feelings, just bein' honest.

  • @msaintpc I've read yor other posts, so I'm not just hackin' here.

Personally I don't think the LS cover gets the airplay it deserves, but then LS was usually underrated in proportion to the lineup of talent they had.

  • Nah. As much as I like Cream. Sorry but Skynyrd was tighter, and rocked it a lot harder.

  • I love this version better too ... hard to compare though, or unfair at the very least, because LS gangs up on Clapton's version -- LS hits 3 times harder with their triple guitar assault and far better bass playing.

  • I think I like Clapton's voice better, but I dig the solo much more than Clapton's. If they teamed up and did it together it would've been sexy.

  • sexy?? what are you some kinda faggot?

  • Much better than Clapton!

  • Call me crazy but I think Skynyrd does this song better than Clapton. Seems to flow better. Try Johnny Winters "Jumpin Jack Flash" as well. He really rocks it out compared to the Stones.

  • I love this fucking song. For ever who posted it on here thank you so much!

  • The Skynyrd that is opening for Kid Rock is not even in the same league as the original lineup. I think Ronnie might kick Kid Rock's ass if he met him.

  • Except Kid Rock can't sing for shit & Ronnie had one of the greatest voices in rock n roll history.

  • Ronnie had a soft smooth voice and Kid Rock has a voice like Toy Caldwell or Bob Segar

  • @ritcheyrocker

kid rock is a ronnie imtator hes a fuckin gay posers hes not a true person how u gonna play gangsta rap country and heavy metal hes fake as fuck and nigger fucker

  • lmfao man what did you just say

  • @MattBodossian

    read it

  • it dont make sens man ur like "oh fuck kid rock ronnie personator hes gay ass nigger fucker chode licker fake fuck" it funny as fuck man

  • dude you have your opinion and i have mine... dont be sending me messages filled with cursing...just chill out

  • @rombomb420 ronnie van zant was the greatest singer in rock n roll history

  • @rombomb420 had one of the greatest voices in rock n roll history???

Not true his voice will stay the greatest FOREVER,no one can cover Lynyrd Skynyrd songs like Ronnie did it!

  • @rombomb420 i agree with ya there

  • @rombomb420 Ronnie's dead for 34+ years now, he ain't comin' back get over it.

  • @rombomb420 Ronnie's dead for 34+ years now, he ain't comin' back get over it.

  • Yeah. Now let's hear the one about the 3 bears.

  • Love that! And you sure told the truth. I think Kid Rock needs a good ass kicking for even having the nerve.

  • I think it's total bullshit that Skynyrd is OPENING for kid rock. Opening?! Are you fucking gay?! The best band that ever existed opening for some poser rapper turned country homo?! Blasphemy.

  • best band that ever existed haha i think you swallowed to much of ur chaw Tex, but hell yah Kid Rock shouldn't even be on a lineup with that band...

Side Note any one got The Doors - Crossroads it exists!

  • I didnt swallow any chaw, they just ARE the best band of all time.

  • kid rock is alsome. They like kid rock because he is smart. he is every genre of music so he is on every radio station. Gary Rossington even was comparing kid rock to Ronnie

  • i dont like him that much, but it is crazy how i hear him on classic rock, country, and i guess hip hop.

  • @MockStoneLLC - him? It's a BAND not a him. The only guy close to that was Leonard Skinner whom they named the band after. Learn the history. The lead singer's name you hear is the late Ronnie Van Zant

  • I was commenting on someone talking about Kid Rock. I am a Skynyrd Junkie and wouldn't make a mistake like that.

  • @guitarGUNFIGHT When Ronnie Van Zant died Lynyrd Skynyrd died..This crap they are calling LS isn't LS..When Ronnie and Steve Gaines died..They all died in one way or the other that night back on October 20, 1977...Without RVZ they were lost...They should just call it Gary Rossington and Sons of LS...IT AIN'T SKYNYRD...

  • @guitarGUNFIGHT Control freak / GREEDY Gary and his coat tail riding brother have turned the strongest band of all time! into a opening act... Thinking Ronnie would not be happy with the greed and what they have turned "HIS" band into. an opening act

  • @guitarGUNFIGHT can't agree more

  • @guitarGUNFIGHT No disrespect intended to the current Lynyrd Skynyrd lineup but it is, in the practical sense, little more than a "Tribute Band" representing the legacy of Lynyrd Skynyrd! OK, let's call it the "Official" Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. Put it in that perspective and it is no longer such a blasphemous thought! :)

  • @63stratoman The current incarnation of Skynyrd is a cover band and they should stop using the name LS.

  • What do you mean opening..? The only band suitable for Kid Rock is Spice Girls..

  • Blows Clapton's cover away!

  • hell yeah it does!

  • I agree. Clapton who?

  • the guitarist for cream who also performed this song

  • best cover of this song ever

  • Yeah, best southern rock band ever !

    Great cover, skynyrd forever !!!

Thanks for postin' it my Brother !
