Everyone is different and have different idea's about what's best. It all depends on the rider and what they like and check for when riding a bike. So everyone talking crap about other bikes need to understand there not the same for a reason. There meant for someone different.

a BMW at least is fast as hell! !! a good bike but the MV........whell is not when i race i whant a good bike not a good loking one full of aftermarking stuff and carbon .I had a mv f4 and it lookt and sound great! but the emgine is a pice of shit ...i blowd the engine at 25000 km on it and the bike was not punish too hard and any stock 1000 jap bike is faster like any mv

On road speed would be a bit slower due to wind resistance... and also depends on how tight you squeeze your balls

The mv has not have rev. limiter .I had one and it workt til 25000 km . engine blowd up.............italian shit....... not good ....and not very fast ...not like hayabusa or any 1000cc jap bike .My 1000 cbr rr have 80.000 on tacho and it works just fine and overall much beter bike than mv. with same speed

Yeah the CBR is more reliable but the last generation MV 1078 was a brilliant bike because of the way it LOOKED and SOUNDED! For that reason, I think I'll make it my next bike. I might decide last minute that I dont wanna put up w/ the discomfort and potential reliability issues however and just buy a BMW S1000

ragazzi...io ho posseduto una gsx 1300 (già già) una r1 e una potentissima f4 312...ok che l'airbox è uno sballo ma non c'è paragone con la f4. Migliore in tutto, dai freni alla ciclistica al bilanciamento e allo scatto. Italia 1 giappone 0 (questa volta). E non tirate in ballo la hayabusa...è una moto che non si può paragonare ad altro ma è nervosa.
