What an interesting arrangement! I've never heard big flutes before and I've got so used to listening to this in its original organ form. Makes a fascinating change.

Thanks for the nice reaction - having the big flutes really does give us the sensation of approaching the range of a real organ!

The Hindemith organ sonatas are treasures and this arrangement is lovely. How exotic the contra and subcontra bass flutes look and sound!
