Wow, what a sad beginning. Rescued animals are so rewarding to have in the family - seeing them go from sad to enjoying their lives is great . We have always adopted rescues (dogs, birds, ratties), rather than encouraging breeders & pet shops.I thoroughly recommend it.

Your buns are adorable I'm actually rescuing a lionhead due for me to pick up next week. All the buns in that shelter looked really big and cared for they also had lots of other animals you name them except dogs really nice shelter Catnap from the Heart is. I have a question can you feed rabbits oranges or not I've heard from some people you can but then I read on the internet that the juicyness can make the rabbit get diarrhea.

@Fewey12345 Most of the birds, bunnies when it's not too hot. I have a nice size screened in patio. Inside it's hamsters, guinea pigs, some birds, dogs. MIND YOU, I don't STILL have all these animals. These vids are from past and present. Also, some I have fostered and are now in their FOREVER HOMES.

@bunnyandme23 Yep, that's kinda a rabbit thing. Try sitting in a bathroom or something with her. Let her run around and explore. Have a few pieces of carrots or apples, with you. Let her come up to you and see if she will eat some of the treats. Don't go to pet her or anything at first. It will take time and patience, but sooner or later, IF you don't run after her, she will get to trust you and know that you usually have something yummy for her, and may even jump into your lap. Good luck

@bunnyandme23 sit down let her come to you if not just be slow lay down and when shes clos slowly stick your hand out at pat her usually between their eyes this may take a few tries

My two females are intensely bonded. So much that if they're playing, and one is inside the cage, the other will jump back in and make sure the other one is alright, then stay in there until both decide to jump out. Freya will groom Anna, but Anna has only groomed Freya once. Yours seem so happy together.

how adorable! It is so sad that people can just leave animals to die like that. They could at least have taken her to the shelter many times they will take them. Puppy mills upset me greatly also... i cry when i watch videos about them. Thanks for being a good person and adopting such a cute little bunny and giving her a second chance at life! kudos to you!

Thanks - of course Kasper had to make the deciding vote. He had to get along with her. He's such a sweetheart though, it wasn't hard for hiim to love her. They still just snuggle all day long.

Both Kasper & Angel are fixed - no problems - no pressures - no hang ups - LOL ;o)

I have two lionhead bunnies as well. They are brother and sister and they adore each other tremendously. But they prefer to snuggle with one another and on occasion, me. Haha

I don't mind.
