Geez...I have an opinion on this song and I get called tone deaf. This is probably my favorite gospel song, but only when done right. This is a horrible rendition of it. The Rambos and the Gaithers do it the best. It actually has a spiritual feel to it when they do it. This is just awful. When I hear the Rambos or the Gaithers sing it, I can imagine how wonderful it is and actually get something spiritual out of it. This just sounds like noise to me. I am in no way tone deaf, just hate this!

I sing at my church but am NO means professional and so thankful that church members and visitors alike don't judge me by my performance but by me doing what the Lord ask me to do...that is what matters!

To destroy the earth, burn it with such heat that the elements will melt! Then there will be a new earth where our souls (body and spirit) will live, where there's no weaping, no death, no sorrow. @AtariMaxiToriyama You probably are right, but I know of a young man at University of Mary Hardin Baylor who does gospel rap - and does it really well. I didn't care for any kind of rap - it mostly is "gangsta" rap - until I heard this young man. Every rap he did (we were having an open mic jam session) was how Jesus paid for our salvation, how Jesus loves us all, and giving praise to the Savior. Even if he were just on an ego trip, all of the raps were praising our Lord.

No, I'm missionary baptist, and i don't think that was God's people crying out, i think that was putting on a show, That sounded like rock and roll. 2 Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" God's people are supposed to be a seperate people, we're not supposed to act, dress, talk like them. That video was no different than if i would've gone to a rock concert.

It is the heart of the worshipper, not the instrument that God wants. He says to worship Him in spirit and truth.
