I saw the arrow bounce out of the springs and fly somewhere over the target into the trees. the springs corrupted the fire your arrow looked like you threw it with your bare hands!
hey wuts the draw wieght on that thing? if it shoots fast and hits hard i think i might make one. looks kinda like the big orc bow from the first lord of the rings. u know the one boremier...(i spelled that wrong) was shot with 3 times. very cool
All he has to do is have good form in his feet, up into his torso, and across his arms and chest. Keeping good form alone for the shot and follow through can make it easy not to hit your arm. I also like to use bows with a distance of about 6 to 8 inches between where the arrow sits on the riser to the nocking point. Finding that out wasn't intentional either but my friend got a bow that is very similar and he also never needs to use a wristguard. Dope bow! Awsome design, great workmanship!
i have seen this design before, an old patent from the late 1800 to early 1900, back when everyone was trying to "cash in" on everything under the sun by patenting every single way of doing anything. (geared cranks for steam engines, springs on bows, ball bearings in a screw tread groove, ect) tho it will never match up to a "normal" bow or compound bow it is still pretty damn cool looking, very steam punk! great work!
The use of springs is an excellent design innovation!
