i wouldnt start with avenged sevenfold unless u have been playing for awhile and know you muting and drop D tuning. their songs arent the easiest thing to play.

not really. as long as you can down pick fast or have a good co-ordinated alternate pick your fine. the bit after the riff is harder because of the huge fast slides =]
