I was on the road to my mother's house when Shriner from WMTX broke the news that MJ had passed away. my heart just went up in my throat and I was saying things I usually try not to say (curse words). I was like everyone else...sick, hurt, upset....you name it. That weekend we stayed glued to the tv and then we felt that loss again when they televised the funeral. RIP King Of Pop.

Does anyone know why there were conflicting reports on his death? When I first heard this, I heard it on the local news stations here in D.C. Then when I switched to other stations, they were reporting he was in the hospital. It was just after 5pm EST when I heard he was dead, which was just after 2pm in L.A. But the confirmation of death was after 3pm Pacific time. I think he was dead when paramedics were called and they held off on reporting.
