  • d'une beauté éternelle !

  • one of the most sadness piece ive ever hearded

  • @kuhmilch it feels happy to me!

  • Fantastic !!!

  • Dear EuropeanArchive,

deeply thanks for your presenting this wonderful document! Peter Rybar is such a great musician and violinist "con gran espressione ed passione"! Legendary artist!

  • Awesome!

  • This isn't opus 134... Opus 134 is Schumann's scantily performed Introduction and Allegro for piano and orchestra...

His cello concerto is opus 129...

  • @FranzofL , perhaps I misunderstand but this isn't the celloconcerto.

And: the violin concerto doesn't go by an opus but by WoO 23 because it was only published posthum. I might add, this "appearance" over 80 years after Schumann's death makes a pretty shady predegree plus the stories about weirdo Clara wanting Brahms to rewrite it - can you believe this stupid woman???

  • What a pity! But, if you, lucky Europeans, will be willing to share with us some good stuff(like Beethoven by Max Rostal!), it will be greatly appreciated.

  • Thanks for the post! It looks like the site is not available in the U.S.

  • Due to copyright restrictions, people with an ip address from the USA are not allowed to download the LP's. Sorry, but that was the only way the European Archive could "officially" work with big audio archives in Europe. On the plus side (for people outside the USA), there are many classical lp's (also ones that never were issued on cd like Beethoven by Max Rostal!) you can download for free...
