I first heard this song the summer of 2009 at an outdoor concert at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Every once in a while, such a song sneaks up on me and absolutely, wonderfully slays me. I heard this and sat immobile, holding my dear wife's hand. Some people around me yakking . . . I think, "How can they possibly be talking right now? Why aren't they sitting, holding their breath, listening?" Such is the way of the Philistines.

Hearing Over the Valley for the first time I was very moved. I hope this humble animation shared a little of bit of how it touched my life.
