What a wonderful memory. I never had the opportunity to join Girl Scouting when I was a girl but I did have that opportunity on a different level as an adult. I'm 57 and still a leader. I've been a leader since 1983 and I've loved every minute of it. Just being involved with Girl Scouts as an adult in Indianapolis has been a life changing experience for me. Thanks to all our Sisters.
im a jr counselor at camp meadowbrook its a GS camp thats part of GSNENY i was never a camper there, cuz i just moved to new york last year and i just became a girl scout on november 2nd...it was actually my 13th bday, but im tellin ya, its the most amazing experiance. working with all the little girls, helping them whenever they need it, actually having power over people, having an impact on each 1 of their lives, its amazing. next week is my last week of jr counseolr and im really sad about it
This video touches me...I am 48 but remember my years of Girl Planning and being a camp counselor..it really empowered me as Woman and I thank all MY SISTERS!!!
I've never been to this camp... but I've been going to Camp Marion White for 8 years... I started out as a camper and now I'm a P.A. I hope one day I can be a councelor and maybe director. Girl Scout Camp is truely the coolest place ever!!! It's the one place I'm myself. The best part is everyone is accepted
