  • I filmed a tour of the museum that is strikingly similar to your version. I showed it in my English class, though, and they were bored to death although it's only 3 minutes long. I was so embarrassed.

And now I'm glad to see all the nice comments here, so I know it was not my fault.<3

Also, good work, I know how long it takes to cut all the stuff.

  • I have for sale on ebay the original first edition of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, published, 1892.

  • im sure, the guy is from japan

  • I don't understand some. What is the real value of some objects that they show as it was owned by Sherlock? Are they are objects used by the author?

  • How I wish I could go to London... Haiz.. It's impossible , my family won't even go there in the first place.. Just hope my secondary school nxt year bring me go.. Pls god!!

I'm a big fan of Sherlock Holmes..

  • I dont understand the point of a Museum for a ficticious character? Its the same with the Beatrix Potter Museum here in Gloucester. Its pointless to me to have a museums of ficticious characters. OK, I can understand the point of fantasy, but not at museums that should be all about truth and fact, not fiction.

  • @yogibear2k10 But Beatrix Potter wasn't a ficticious character, she was one of the best childrens authors...

  • @JEEardley lol :p

  • @yogibear2k10 well I'd gone to New York last summer for a holiday and came across (I swear by accident!) "The museum of Sex"..."View the pleasure today!"

I guess they make museums of just about anything nowadays :L

  • I have read eight books of Mr. Holmes and I simply fell in love with the stories, and my dream is to meet the museum's renowned detective Sherlock Holmes, who both Phasine though me with her adventures. ass: A fan of Sherlock Holmes and their stories: Thalia

  • I went there last Summer and I loved every minute of it. I had just read all the novels and short stories and seen the Jeremy Brett series. It is beyond amazing!

  • hey where is mrs Hudson ?

  • I was there this summer and nether Watson or Holmes was there :'(

  • Watson never called Holmes by his first name. Obviously the real Watson is out with Holmes at the moment.

  • Fascinating vid. Re-reading Holmes' tales makes one appreciate the late Victorian era and the greatest fictional detective of all time.

  • I really want to go but I'm not at all sure of the London transport system.

  • I am soon to join the Army on the 5th September 2010, and will be based in Harogate AFC for 6 weeks but when I come out from the 6 weeks and onto leave I shall plan a visit and then on the second leave I shall be going to London for a visit around for the weekend (Fri to Sun) and Intend on visiting most of London attractions that I wish to, but wish to visit this twice before I leave. • @agathadirks

LOL, me too! Or maybe one or two days earlier. We were having a holiday in London, it was fantastic! I will also go again when I´m back there in 2 weeks, I must get one of the little music boxes :)

  • Wow I want to see it.

  • lots of kitch in the shop.

  • ahhhh so amazing!! I saw the same "Dr. Watson" 2 days ago! But then he was joking with Japanese people :P^^

  • I went to the Sherlock Holmes museum a couple of years ago when I went on a trip to London,

It's a really nice recreation of 221b that's worth seeing if you get a chance.

  • @cha5 So its not the actual 221b Baker Street, but a recreation?

  • @000266617 That's right, it's a recreation of the 221B Baker Street rooms from the stories. The adresses along Baker Street during the Victorian ran from numbers

1 up to88 and no higher, so the number '221B' didn't exist back then during

Sherlock Holmes time and it's generally thought among Sherlockians that '221B' was a fictional number that Watson came up with in order to conceal from the prying public where Holmes and Watson lived.

  • @000266617 You might want to go to the website 'sherlockiandotnet'

and click on where it says 'The world of Holmes and Watson' and then click on

'The location of 221B Baker Street' for more information on the possible locations of 221B along Baker Street.
