  • NOTICE: Ronnie Milsap is coming out w/ "Country Again" July 26! "If You Don't Want Me to" will be released the 18th! Please spread this everywhere! BTW, BloozeDaddy76, you have a message from me in/on your channel.

  • Ronnie is a true country music star and now legend. Very few people have the musical talent, singing voice, and humility to achieve greatness in music. But he had it all.

  • Love his music!!!!!

  • God Bless You .....Mr. Milsap !

  • Ronnie Milsap is undeniably one the top five artists of all time, even being blind he is one of the best, his voice is magic. I love all his songs and when he sings he is like and artist with a brush only his brush is piano keys & he paints a picture in your mind

  • Just beautiful...

  • Is that Vince Gill playing the guitar in the back ground?

  • Had the pleasure to meet Ronnie just last night backstage at the Grande Ole Opry and had my picture made with him...He said "1, 2, 3, TWENTY NINE" (I dont know why, lol) He's such a sweet man but is now very feeble and doesn't appear to be in good health...but OMG as I stood on the very same stage while he sang "Smoky Mountain Rain" was just awesome, I almost cried..What a CLASSIC!!...then to watch them help him walk off stage again....May God Bless you with better health Ronnie.

  • if you have ever been blessed enough to see this man live and in person, you are missing true blessing from God above.. Ronnie Milsap in undeniably one the top five artists of all time.. Above this, he is one of the most wonderful indivuals you could ever meet. SOLID AND REAL...

  • This man has always been incredible. I've listened to punk, to Iron Maiden and everything else. Ronnie Milsap hasn't lost anything over the years. I worked at the Grand Casino 6-8 years ago when he played there. I was stage right. I had my back to the steps. I felt this cold chill come across me and when I turned around to look, he had just walked past me. And he can call frequencies out as good as any engineer I've ever worked with.

  • Wow. He sounds just as good as ever.

  • Anyone have him and Turn the Radio On?

    Please let me know.

  • does anyone know the name of the first song?

  • @mrkoolnerd "A Woman In Love"

  • Lets see Tim McGraw do that!

  • He's such a great piano player and singer, i'm glad I got to see him at the fair 2008 in Davenport IA

  • u wouldnt happen to have an 8x10 picture of him do ya

  • dang when was this video done? He sounds GREAT...Almost like a song a wonderful memory of my youth...God bless you Ronnie and thanks for posting this great video...

  • Awesome!! Thanks for sharing.

  • BloozeDaddy76: I agree with you, Ronnie's tops! I enjoy all of Ronnie Milsap's music.

  • The final seconds of this clip at 6:06 is all the proof you need that today's cookie-cutter country twangers simply cannot compete with the vocal prowess of RONNIE "THE MASTER" MILSAP!

LONG LIVE THE GREATEST VOCALIST IN THE HISTORY OF COUNTRY MUSIC...

  • @BloozeDaddy76

Agreed. Greatest ever. I'll give honorable mentions to George Jones and Don Williams but even they aren't anywhere near Ronnie Milsap, IMO.

  • @BloozeDaddy76 I couldn't agree with you more. I love all kinds of music including country, classical, blues, pop, hard rock and heavy metal. Ronnie Milsap is my favorite singer of all-time.

  • @BloozeDaddy76 absolutely!!

  • @BloozeDaddy76 All of Branson- every musician and singer down there is proof that cookie cutter tawngers can't compete. If you haven't been to Branson and you like the pure excellence of musicianship, you will find no better place than Branson. I lived there five years and some of the best talent in the world is in that small little town.

  • @BloozeDaddy76 You love caps lock.

  • Can I put in a request to see Stranger In My House if he did it that night? Best song he ever did and the best versions are the live ones. Thanks

  • yall got that right. I'm 18 and these new "country" acts should really listen to Ronnie :D

  • Great! Love him. Can anyone tell me when this was?

  • so so very good!!!!! Go ahead Mr. Milsap!!!!

  • I will be seeing Ronnie Milsap in concert for the first time in less than 17 hours and I AM EXCITED! He is the one performer that I have dreamed of seeing but never thought it would ever happen. I will leave a msg after the concert. Mr. Milsap, I love you!

  • First time i have seen him sing "Almost Like A Song" It has been in my favoutite list since day 1. What a performer,. Frank Sinatra was asked, "What he would like for his 50th Birthday,,,,,He said, "I'd like to go to a "Ronnie Millsap Show"..I rest my case,...TYVM Ronnie...

  • Ronnie wasn't even a household name when Sinatra was 50.

  • was he singing on a regular basis then? if so it's possible

  • when Sinatra was 50, the year was 1965....Ronnie had one chart hit but it bubbled under the pop charts and only made it to #19 on the R&B charts....look up, "Never Had it So Good."

  • Never liked country music, but when I first heard this beautiful song, I went out, bought a piano, and this was the first song I ever learned to play! It's still one of my very favorites! I'd love for someone to re-record it. Thanks a million for posting it!

  • Holy crap....!

I just listened to this vid again,

    & I swear,

when Ronnie sings Almost Like A Song, he is channeling the power of heaven.

  • I'm not really into country music, except for this guy.

It amazes me how well his voice sounds live.

Mr. Milsap can probably make a song like Tip Toe Thru The Tulips sound awesome.

  • Ronnie is such a Pro after all these years. He is one of a kind and full of energy! The audience that night? Not so much. Its as if they were attending a funeral. DEAD! Ronnie deserved more love than that. But then again, Im sure no one in there was under 70.

  • Lol, I don't know about over 70, but Branson definately draws an older crowd. I'm only 25 and usually when I go down there to see the Oak Ridge Boys I'm a younger face in the crowd. Then again unfortunately most of my generation doesn't appreciate good music like this :)

  • I'm 22 and love classic country music!!! Beats the hell out of this "modern" country music!!!!

  • Amen to that.... Im 37 and i remember the oak ridge boys all right. But yeah the Branson crowd is much older and thats why the bands form the 70's and 80's are there. I love old school country. If asked I wouldn't be able to name you any modern day country singers. I just dont listen to todays country.

  • WOOOHOOOOOO!!! GO RONNIE!!!!!

  • I LOVE HIS INTRO MUSIC!!! There is none other greater than the great Ronnie Milsap!!

  • Awesome, do you have Stranger In My House?

  • Ronnie rockin the HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bring him back to Branson I will be there!

  • The greatest talent ever and what a sense of humor. He can sing like no one I've known.
