I know what you mean. GaoGaiGar IS a good mech, but it relies heavily on melee combat and support vehicles, even Genesic. Its defenses are also limited, whereas the likes of Mazinkaiser has unlimited defense.

That was the first SR show EVER that I stopped watching because it was so full of crap.

The SR design wasnt original with the sorry excuse for it wanting to feel retro.
