I live in Hillsboro Il. and we are invaded with cicadas yes just like this .. my moms house it is so loud... tiny holes in the ground they came up after being dormant for 13 years.. scary

@shanferg1 i dont remember the hair standing up but i did feel a static shock from it. went inside after that, it was way to close for comfort.
