is just the weakest lyrics of all time.

Or can someone explain to me what nearly a quarter of the alphabet has to mean in here? Maybe I just don't get something here.

Don't get me wrong, I like the song and the lyrics, but those lines are just poor lyricsism.

@go1988 i actually believe it refers to the simplicity of life in earlier years, such as kindergarten, first grade, early school years when we were to recite the alphabet. The sweet naivety of a young child. I'm personally a big fan of those two lines.

I'm living in Munich in less than a month, and my "girlfriend" lives in London, this song means a lot to me, as we both knew we couldn't be together for long, but being together made us happy, so for the short time it worked, it worked really well. This is exactly what I listened to on the train home yesterday afternoon, after I saw her for what is presumably the last time before I move away. I love it. <3

I thought i lost everyone i loved... mate, shes only 200 miles across a little bit of land and a small patch of water.
