Just saw Rufus tonight at the Boston Opera House and he was phenomenal! I haven't seen him perform live for a few years and I was looking forward to this concert for so long. He was in amazing form and even though I always think he sounds fantastic, I thought tonight's performance was the best I've ever heard! Martha was the opening act, and as a special bonus, they performed Hallelujah. Rufus closed the evening with Walking Song, a beautiful tribute to their late mother, Kate Mcgarrigle.

Speaking of cooking shows, Rufus was on Dinner With The Band last night on IFC. He helped chef Sam Mason prepare a delicious German meal (Schnitzel at Last, Zebulon Spaetzle, New York Sauerkraut and a sparkling Riesling cocktail called The Judy) at Mason's Brooklyn loft . While mixing some ingredients together, Rufus, witty as always, said he didn't know how to do that very well, but he did know how to "mix an album." He then performed moving renditions of Zebulon and Who Are You New York?
