I feel *very* uneasy about this party. Some of their program points aren't bad, but I just can't trust them at all. It just feels like the pirate party is a good talker. They clearly know what most of the younger people want: Playing videogames, downloading music (both without paying of course), consuming marijuana etc. As if there aren't any bigger needs in our nation.

What they say just feels like: "Come little children, elect us! The world'll be fine! You just need to love us!"

Majority of Green Party wants to legalize Cannabis/ Marihuana also. Pirate party is in 2011 just what Green party was in 1980. They will change in a few years and than they want to kill everybody taking a Cigarette and talking about alcohol and cigarettes. This happened with Green Party also. Today they are a "No Smoking" organization and this will also happen to Pirate party. Nothing to worry about! It's a joke party!

The Pirate Party evolved from the pirate movement, and it has no paid and no paying members, it's decentralized, and it's program just keeps expanding. You mention the Greens? Pirates eat Greens 4 breakfast. The entire Greens program fits into one of our booklets :) Believe me, you are a pirate as much as I am :)

Well in Germany it does not matter in other parts of the world it matters. Sometimes it is a stupid idea to say "I'm a pirate and have a flag" because there are people which do not think that this is a funny idea. In Germany you can say "I'm gay," you can drink alcohol wherever you want and kiss a wife wherever you want but well that's a free and liberal country but don't try this everywhere.
