I thought Ep-2 was a good step up from Ep-1, and Ep-3 sealed the deal. The one thing about the prequel trilogy (I think anyway) is that the films got better as they progressed, and actually like them better than Eps 4-6. And this is from someone who was 10 years old back in '77 and expierienced as a kid the whole Star Wars mania that was every bit as huge a pop culture phenomenon as the Beatles was in their time. It was truly staggering how big it was.
I know it´s a monstrous sin to say this but I think they should remake `spits` the old trilogy.
StarWars-movies are so much about effects and those oldies just suck in that category. Stormtrooper armours look like they are not attached properly and they sound like plastic which I would understand if SW-weapons would be energy based but they are not. Heated plasma cannot be absorbed

I think you mean the story of the game "The force Unleashed" It is some sort of that but only not a film or series... Search it in youtube :) It's about how Darth Vader and the Sith in general kill all the Jedi and and and :D I could go on but I think you should look for yourself :)

The trouble is with this film, is too much on special effects and CGI...
when they attempt to make it look real, people start to notice thats its all CGI and its cartoony.
in the originals, it was real life sets, whereas the prequels rely on blue screen sets,

They could somehow add renewed scenes on top of the old ones and possibly make entirely new scenes.
Animation tech has developed so much that they could make Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford entirely with computer.
Lightsaber fight scenes need to be entirely replaced with new ones since the old fights are so slow paced and lack technique.
The jedi/sith are supposed to be able to bring great destruction single handedly.

I think you mean the story of the game "The force Unleashed" It is some sort of that but only not a film or series... Search it in youtube :) It's about how Darth Vader and the Sith in general kill all the Jedi and and and :D I could go on but I think you should look for yourself :)

@Walshdog69 DDon`t worry man, Lucas just doesn`t want any more episodes, he wants VI to be the main ending but there wil probably many miore sub films, some that will probably even tigh up the the ending of VI. There is already an animated Clone Wars films and now a big tv series about the Clone Wars, also animated and a live actiion tv series!!!!!!! probably multiple ones.

He hates making star wars films if you read the interviews he's done on the films over the years. and i reckon he'd fear more hate from the people so devoted to the original trilogy who hated the prequels.

If i could ask George Lucas one question it would be when he wrote ep 4 and luke was written to say "You fought in the clone wars?" Did he plan the whole war before writing that episode? or if not, what was he thinking when he wrote for luke to say that? Was it just a random thought?
