  • I love your backpack. Definitely getting one

  • I like this video very much...and the music too. What is it ?

  • Another great video. I do have a couple questions for you. 1.Do you make your own leather bags and if so where do you get the leather? 2. That is one sweet fire kit, where did you find that tin with the magnifier on it? Take care

    Nate

  • That was a good hike. Looking forward to another outing.

One of my favorite ways to explore the wilderness is finding a stream, and traveling up it. They constantly bring up awesome spots such as this. And how convenient to always have a source of running water, to always have a safe place to make a fire, and to have plenty of water to extinguish it.

  • @AdventureSworn Agreed! =)

  • Well thought out arrangement for this video skogkniv ! thanks for sharing your trip. Music fits perfectly.

  • nice video bro. headed to the Adirondacks this weekend. this video got me psyched up.

  • Very beautiful video and songs !

    Thanks

  • Beautiful camp spot.

  • Fantastic location, very beautiful. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

  • Very beautiful area, must be awesome to have something close to you to go and hike around. The stream looked awesome as well. Thanks for sharing and posting for us to see.

  • Nice video--but I was a little surprised to see you start a fire right on all that lovely moss next to the stream and not in some sort of fire pit.

  • @Urbanwild1 The moss is everywhere. It would be unavoidable not to touch it with a fire or fire pit.

  • @SkogKniv I made an annotation to the video. I am not on the forest floor, which is what I think is the misunderstanding. I am just above the stream line on the rocks.

  • I'll be heading up to the Dacks soon for a canoe trip. How are the bugs right now?

  • Nice!

  • Very nice vid. Great day out. That pack was a good score. Keep on goin Skog.

  • Great vid as usual Skog 5/5

  • Beautiful! Doesn't look much different from northern Georgia. We have a little more undergrowth on our forest floor though, but I think that's because we have more hardwoods. Anyway, great stuff Skog!

  • Fun video bro. Really enjoy videos like these, wish I was there.

  • Great music - Happy trails SkogKniv

  • what a spot! That's a native trout stream if I've ever seen one. No fishing??

  • Very beautiful scenery.

  • The place with the big flowing creek looks so sweet, I bet you guys were stoked when you found it.

  • Looked like a great day to be in the woods you must not do to many over nighters ?

  • @medicjimr I am not in a position to get out over night all the time, not like I used to. So I get in more day hikes. Between a once and a while overnight, or getting out more often in day hikes, I will take getting out more often every time. ; )

  • @SkogKniv Ya I forgot congrats with the expected little skogkniv Ya I would like more over nighters than I get too

  • @medicjimr I have one next week, whether or not I bring the camera is another story. I like to leave it at home sometimes. The video making is becoming a hobby all its own, and seems to once and a while take a priority over just being in the wilderness. If you follow me. I don't want that to become a habit hahaha

  • Fresh/wonderful air!!! That is what your outdoor vids r for me...Thank You Brother!!!

  • @drumgodtim Glad you like it!

  • Nice video, and a very good daypack, had one since i was in the army.

What are the music you are playing?

    Hilsen fra Norge!:)

  • @TheJohn815 The music is by Beltaine. =)

  • Don't know what I like better, the video or the music.

  • Seemed like a nice little trip.Do you know what those blue berries are? I see them when we hike in the Catskills but I've never seen them before. My next trip will hopefully be in the High Peaks. I love that fire starting kit..

  • I like your Hudson Bay traditional fire making kit. When I saw it on a previous video of yours I looked it up, found a good choice of cases, Tin, Copper, Brass and Stainless I think. Nice backpack, OD green again :-)

  • FIRST! awesome vid yet again very serene and peaceful there i can tell. would love to visit a place like that one day.
