Every match I see of the POwers of Pain these guys were masively over. They had it all, the phsyiques, the look, the big power moves, great music, a great manager in The Baron. I don't know what they were thinking sacrificing these guys for a Demolition face turn. The turn itself was so confusing that the PoP still got cheered at the end of the match since it looked like they were helping Mr. Fuji out, who got decked by his own team Demolition.
Back in the day, when I'd go to MSG to watch the wwf, I saw the Powers Of Pain eating at Charlie O's restaurant before the show....It was so weird seeing these two huge guys, that looked like they belonged in a Conan movie, eating at a nice restaurant table with napkins and silverware..lol
Volkoff's national anthem FTW. The PoP should've had a great run against Demolition as faces. I don't get it. My guess is that VKM wanted HIS team to be at the forefront...his creation. As usual.
so funny to hear super star graham talk about barbarian like he never knew him. they used to be in paul jones army together.Ahh wwe and their forget the past treatments of stars.
For a big man the barbarian was a very fast, very stron, and a good worker as for the warlord, he was very stiff in the ring (then again so was hogan and ultimate warrior) but warlord was still a good worker who was willing to put other guys over(unlike warrior and hogan). It's sad that they were made in to a road warriors knockoffs instead of getting there own gimmick
I do like most of your videos though stirling1983. Especially the Killer Bees vs. Rougeau Brothers match. I like the Jake Roberts vs. Rick Martel blindfold match alot too.
Barbarian was the leanest 300 pounder i ever saw. he was solid and powerful, about 6 1 maybe 2. and fast as lightning. warlord was a monster.

@redbuick Barbarian was great, but Haku was a better 300 pounder in my opinion.

One of Vince McMahon's stupid ideas was to turn the Powers of Pain heel. They were way over as faces. Stupid move Vince.

For the life of me, I can't remember WrestleFest. When I saw the title, I thought this would be taking place in the WCCW or the USWA!
I never understood why the Powers of Pain, or the Barbarian for that matter, never really "headlined" in WCW/NWA or WWF.

Believe it or not between the two the Barbarian is the stronger.

I like Ivan & Nikita Koloff, but I never liked either of the Bolsheviks.
