the point is that a reckless/uneducated opponent (so a newbie fencer or a drunkard with a club) is likely to charge and try to hit on any level they can. thuspassata sotto fleche is a combination worth studying and its good to learn how to defend against it. Why did you choose to demonstrate the forward passata sotto with a fleche instead of a lunge? I've never seen reference to it being done in this fashion.
