It saddens me to see the direction in which Fable has gone. I mean the original is a fantastic game in every possible way. and while I will admit I do own and play Fable 2 and 3 and I do enjoy them they are no where near the masterpiece that is the original Fable. I can only hope Lionhead learns from recent mistakes and goes back to what made Fable the amazing experiance it once was.

@ciosky93 Fable for xbox isn't good you should have for PC it is much better you can do plenty of things with the mods like making a own town and shot bandit's head from bows use Jack of Blades skills being a jack. It is much better for PC then xbox.

I have this feeling when I listen to the soundtrack of this game. Like I am meeting an old friend who I had forgotten.

For the longest time I tried to place what made Fable the most magical game that I have ever played. Then I came and listened to the soundtrack.

im gonna sound gay so go ahead and hate but this makes me wanna walk outside and look out and see a nice pasture and walk through it and just birds cherping and everything is okay and then you stop at a well and take a drink out of it and you come down to see a lake and your friends are there and they say "Hey, you coming swimming?" and then you rush on down there and you go for a nice peacful swim and the night comes and you have to go home and you say later to your friends and you come home...

Ah, my best friend introduced me to this game. He was playing it on his Xbox one time when I came over to his house, and I wanted to make a file and play instantly. This game captured my heart, I remember I could just stay at his house for hours playing Fable.

This song reminds me of the joyful and magical feeling of roaming around in the world of Albion.

The sun is shining on summer fields and people are cheering me as a hero. There is happiness in the world and all my troubles are forgotten.

Despite I quit playing Fable years ago, listening to this song takes me right back to it. All I need to do is to close my eyes... and I'm back in the world of Albion, lying down on summer fields.

When I first picked up Fable about 7 years ago, I never, in my wildest dreams, imagined that it would touch me on such a profound level. Fable, in my opinion, is the greatest game ever created. Its not just the unique and vibrant world, its the subtle ticks. The soundtrack, Summer Fields, that grips you and just wont let go. You dont just let lost in the world, you get lost within the game itself. Forget Halo Anniversary! Lionhead! Fable Anniversary! I wanna relive it again and again!

I agree. Great subtle build-up to the crescendo towards the final part of the track. My favourite part and the reason I like this theme so much. Hit me like a hammer when I first heard it during the game many years ago.

Easily my favorite piece from Fable. The mood shift at 2:50 is emotionally stirring that's for sure. Maybe it's just me but that's what really makes the piece stick out. It almost has an air of sadness to it at the end, as if the summer is slowing dying into autumn.

This song touches my heart ever since I was a boy and the game came out. I didn't know what it was, but I know it had to be something special when I saw this picture.

Fable: The Lost Chapter is possibly the best role playing game I have ever played. It had a very magical, surreal, medieval theme to it. In my opinion, the other two games should have emulated that same concept, instead of skipping into the colonial ages. I also want to experience the OLD kingdom. I hope they make a prequel.

I've come to a realisation: it seems that Danny Elfman's music has long been a part of my life. Long before I was introduced to Oingo Boingo, I have been listening to him before I even had knowledge of him.  For those of you who do not know, Danny Elfman is the composer of many soundtracks, including that of all three fables (Along with Russel Shaw) and was the singing voice of Jack Skellington.

@johnson8918 Yes, Fable was a fantasy game, you had a lot of choices and something fun about it was getting lost, magic, bows, buttons in combat, etc; and in Fable II you have a golden smoke that guides you through all the damn levels, in fights you only press one fucking button! over and over again, Fable II doesn't have that magic ambient in Fable I, I don't recomend it to you, sorry about my english.

This song reminds me of exploring as a kid with my friends we came to this hill that went up what seemed like for forever then at the bottom we saw and entrance that looked alot like the entrance to Bowerstone. It gave us the same magical feel. It turned out to be an old brick making factory, but its been recently  tore down cus someone bought the property........

this, the oakvale theme and the demon door/temple of light theme are the best tracks out of all three games - they really feel magical like a real fable should. also, has anybody else noticed the bit at 2:00 that sounds like the Stargate theme? pretty random, but cool.
