Here's a Reality Check for you, Bill: The reason there are more liberals than conservatives on the Peabody board is because there are more intelligent liberals than there are intelligent conservatives. (And, uh, don't look for yourself as a conservative on the Peabody Board anytime soon, Bill.) And I have to wonder, Bill: Why did you falsely claim to have won two Peabody awards? Talk about someone needing a Reality Check, Bill? You're first in line, buddy.
Gee, the heading to this is a bit misleading, I think. Actually, O'Reilly ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS (not just "once") claimed he won TWO (not just one) Peabody awards. Actually, Jeromie, he did claim that HE had won two Peabodies. He said that in defense of attacks on HIS credibility, asserting that "they" don't give two Peabody awards to people who lack credibility. He simply lies as is convenient for him. And it's often convenient.
I go to school at UGA and Grady where Peabody is, and frankly, it's a pretty split environment. It's a somewhat progressive town, but it's in a blanket red state, so we get a really good mix of both in Athens.
Of course the award has gone to more "liberal" news programs, It's because they do their job responsibly by NOT lying about the news on national TV. You should try it sometime Bill.
"People won't give me an award because I'm Republican."
No Bill, they won't give you an award because you don't deserve it.
Actually O'Reilly didn't claim he won it, he claimed that Inside Edition won the Peabody for it's journalistic thoroughness. Two, actually. He claimed this several times before Al Franken called him out, to which O'Reilly then claimed he had mistakenly reffered to the Peabody when he actually meant the Polk award. Then, after getting called out and confessing he made a mistake, he did it again.
"sticking CIGARS up Interns you know what!".................you mean like O'Reilly wanting to shove a FELAFEL up his Producers you know what? Or do you mean LOOFER her soapy you know whats?................gee, what a suprise, another hypocritical CONSERVATIVE. enjoy moron!
I guess that now the Paul Krugman won a Nobel prize, Billio is going to conduct a journalistic investigated report to find out that the Nobel Committee is made of teh same 8 democrats and 2 conservatives.
Do not worry Bill O we, by popular demand, will awards you the Loofah of the year award
What a sore loser. haha. I love how he makes it sound like Bill Moyers gets his Peabody awards for free. O'Reilly needs to make peace with the fact that he's intellectually stunted.
I love the irony of his use of the term 'fair and balanced', claiming the Peabody awards panel are as poorly 'fair and balanced' as... Fox News. Idiot, he just managed to articulate the reason he won't be getting one any time soon and that Fox News is a biased and partisan news organisation. Can't you just taste bitterness oozing out of Bill's pores?
The Media in this country is overwhelminly "Liberal",another delusion the right wing has been trying to spread for years, just like Gays are trying to destroy the Family and all Liberals are "Un-American",stuff like that, obviously they need an excuse why most of their policies have been unbelievable failures over the years,we were wrong about Iraq and weapons of Mass Destruction, blame it on the Liberal Media,George Bush has proven to be imcompetent,oh that is all the Liberal Media's Fault!!!
Yea its just like the liberal media to not ask questions and propagandise for a republican war, and its just like the liberal media to go afte the impeachment of a democratic president!
Who is to say that CrooksAndLiars does not have it wrong? Didn't Bill Moyers recently dodge a reporter from O'Reilly trying to get him to commit to an interview? Most of the media in the country does lean left, and that should be obvious to anyone who really wants more objective reporting. Look at how so many news anchors basically drolled over Obama, and asked Hillary the hard, leading questions while giving Obama a pass. That's not journalism - it's a joke.
Even a radical ideology like you have to have the decency to tell the truth.
Moyer said he will go to O' Reilly show after he go to his show, he offered and entire hour.
Since It is Bill O' Reilly who is obsessed with Moyer serious and respectable journalism, he is the one who has to go the the interviewed first.
It is O'Reilly that is sending squadrons of pseudo reporters to terrorized people with ambush interviews that are so dishonest that even the tabloid do not practice that.
Jerez - If you think I have a "radical ideology", it shows how far out of touch you are. That's like stating I'm a radical for wanting the borders secured, when 80% of American wants the same. So Moyers is terrorized by faced with a reporter asking him questions? Or how about the exec from JetBlue that sponsored DailyKos, or the Mayor of Virginia Beach (which has sanctuary policies protecting illegal aliens)? They were "ambushed" since they could not continuously dodge Fox reporters? Not so.
There's survey after survey, from respectible pollsters like Rasmussen and Zogby (which have their own websites, in case you want to do the research) that consistently show super-majorities of Americans favoring securing the borders and enforcement of immigration laws. I don't label others based on race or ethnicity, so I have to decline your request that I identify a "tribe" for myself - I'm American (the legal kind) and that's all that's relevent here.
This is embarrassing. Bill, you can think these things, but when you go on your show and bitch, you look like the world's biggest pussy.

Is this to subtle discrediting of Steven Corbert for winning a real Peabody Bill?
as oppose to you Bill making yours all up?
Or is this is Billo shotting the messenger when his do not like the message, like hi usually does in his show?
I wish Keith Obermann wins a peabody, maybe Bill gets I hard attack of envy .

Raymond1967-
You seem a very strong in anti immigration; may I ask what Native American Tribe are you from? The Cherokee, the Apaches, or the comanche?
Where are you getting that 80% of Americans agree with your immigration policy?
Was there some study by some credible institution, or are you pulling it from your own ass, or maybe from Bill O' Reilly, Lou Dobbs or Glen Beck ass?
Believe me you do not want a fact from there.
About the Fox "reporters" those are not reporters.
