Here's a Reality Check for you, Bill: The reason there are more liberals than conservatives on the Peabody board is because there are more intelligent liberals than there are intelligent conservatives. (And, uh, don't look for yourself as a conservative on the Peabody Board anytime soon, Bill.) And I have to wonder, Bill: Why did you falsely claim to have won two Peabody awards? Talk about someone needing a Reality Check, Bill? You're first in line, buddy.

Gee, the heading to this is a bit misleading, I think. Actually, O'Reilly ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS (not just "once") claimed he won TWO (not just one) Peabody awards. Actually, Jeromie, he did claim that HE had won two Peabodies. He said that in defense of attacks on HIS credibility, asserting that "they" don't give two Peabody awards to people who lack credibility. He simply lies as is convenient for him. And it's often convenient.

I go to school at UGA and Grady where Peabody is, and frankly, it's a pretty split environment. It's a somewhat progressive town, but it's in a blanket red state, so we get a really good mix of both in Athens.

Actually O'Reilly didn't claim he won it, he claimed that Inside Edition won the Peabody for it's journalistic thoroughness. Two, actually. He claimed this several times before Al Franken called him out, to which O'Reilly then claimed he had mistakenly reffered to the Peabody when he actually meant the Polk award. Then, after getting called out and confessing he made a mistake, he did it again.

Who is to say that CrooksAndLiars does not have it wrong? Didn't Bill Moyers recently dodge a reporter from O'Reilly trying to get him to commit to an interview? Most of the media in the country does lean left, and that should be obvious to anyone who really wants more objective reporting. Look at how so many news anchors basically drolled over Obama, and asked Hillary the hard, leading questions while giving Obama a pass. That's not journalism - it's a joke.

It is O'Reilly that is sending squadrons of pseudo reporters to terrorized people with ambush interviews that are so dishonest that even the tabloid do not practice that.

Jerez - If you think I have a "radical ideology", it shows how far out of touch you are. That's like stating I'm a radical for wanting the borders secured, when 80% of American wants the same. So Moyers is terrorized by faced with a reporter asking him questions? Or how about the exec from JetBlue that sponsored DailyKos, or the Mayor of Virginia Beach (which has sanctuary policies protecting illegal aliens)? They were "ambushed" since they could not continuously dodge Fox reporters? Not so.

Was there some study by some credible institution, or are you pulling it from your own ass, or maybe from Bill O' Reilly, Lou Dobbs or Glen Beck ass?

There's survey after survey, from respectible pollsters like Rasmussen and Zogby (which have their own websites, in case you want to do the research) that consistently show super-majorities of Americans favoring securing the borders and enforcement of immigration laws. I don't label others based on race or ethnicity, so I have to decline your request that I identify a "tribe" for myself - I'm American (the legal kind) and that's all that's relevent here.
