  • @TheSue66 Yes it is.

  • @houndog1372 Sorry, wrong account!

  • why dont you like 92s ?

  • My HST blew up!!!

  • I got one in EWS livery for £20 and runs good

  • you know what you should do it but her in a siding and it will look like she has been abandon

  • The weathering job isn't great in my opinion. Yes they do get grotty in service but not to the point that you cant see the logos down the sides. Also a bit of dirt on the roof would make it look or accurate overall.

A pair of (it might be more now) 86/6s have recently received the new powerhaul livery so they probably will be in service for a few more years yet, which is nice to know. I would bet if you replaced the carbon brushes and cleaned contacts the armature + new tyres it would run well.

  • @soundseeker63 ok thanks for the idvise i never done the wethering i bought it like that 2nd hand

  • 4:04 :'( i love 90s + 92s =D

  • 87s are quite old actuelly over 5 have been scrapped these past few months 87031 87018 87011 87031 87021 87027 and 87030 is awiting its fate

  • if your not going to run her anymore ill give you £30 for her

  • P.s Buy a Heljan Class 86 much better motor heads and tail lights. Crewe I.E.M.D has class 90's 92's a few Fertis class 56's and 58's I believe Languish down there too 87006.

  • @87006 yep agreed ive got the anglia 86 and she is a beast and at full chat she scremes like an 86 aswell very quietly but she screems

  • Freightlners 86's are not retiring infact 86622 and 637 have only just been painted in the new Freightliner livery so they have life left yet. Freightliner will not purchase any 90's from DB Schenker because simple answer most of them are too old and would cost too much to repair. Besides Freightliner already have 10 class 90's of there own. On the Crewe Electric Depot question there is no class 325 there the unit you are referring to 325010 is at Ilford EMU depot in London 87006.

  • Some of the 86s will be shiped to Bulgaria

  • @Class59Cameron 86's are not going to Bulgaria 22 87's have already gone leaving 11 in the UK because of the recession the Bulgarians couldnt afford the rest of the 87's so 86's are not going to be going rest assured of that 87006

  • @Class59Cameron sadly yes why cant we preserve the 86s

  • why dont you add this to your layout as an abandoned train so every time you see it you remember what a great train it was

  • what are you on about @4:38

  • so what are you going to do with that loco

  • hattons is a great place i got my suspention bridge and it was realy good value for money

  • Very nice do you have any class 90's if you dont get one they are really great runners and it would look very nice with railtours or your pretendolino virgin trains.

  • @tpe18509 i have some 90s but r all old and cannot pull mutch

  • since when do hornby trains blow up? p.s you can by new motors from hornby anyway

  • Nice loco, don;t forget the 91 on the east coast ;)

  • @Virgintrainsuk what about the 91s

  • @houndog1372 Just saying there will still be 91 on the network ;)
