  • Great to see all the old footage as well as the new.......... thanks for posting....

  • Starz rocked the hell out of Hollywood in February 1978 at the legendary Starwood...and I was there. They opened with Night Crawler. They also did a superb version of Boys in Action. It was great!

  • I'm the guy with the santa hat! I had no idea this show was recorded! Who has it?

  • I remember you! Somewhere I have a great photo of you and Richie. The guy who mixed this video used his OWN old footage and his friend shot the SF stuff. I don't know if I still have his email addy. I'll check. You're a star! PG

  • That would be really cool! Hey, and thanks for the compliment! I've loved Starz for years, and that was my first and only time seeing them live...needless to say, it was a dream come true. I'm really good friends with Billy Rowe of the opening band from that night, American Heartbreak (and from Jetboy). Take care, and keep in touch!

  • For unusual and rare Starz collectibles, check out StarzStuff . . . a joint charity venture from guitarist Brendan Harkin and the family of Piet Sweval. A new LIVE cd, ringtones, one of a kind items. Google it. YouTube won't let me post a URL . . .

  • A band that should have gotten more recognition than they did. On of the best from the 70's

  • Thank you Propergroupie for having a treasure vintage music video Collection on the ever origional bad-boys of Hard Rock/Classic Metal the legendary STARZ. I like how the visuals above changes from Starz in their early days & in the now, their always be magic and they sound amazing live! Love you STARZ: Micheal, Richie, Dube', Brendan, Peter (rest in sweet harmony), Bobby and Orville & DiAna. From the heart, peace!

  • THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO COOL!!!!!!!!! I have an idea for a remix!!!

  • I was at the show in Indianapolis in 77.Indiana Theather,Rivoli, cant remember where it was. Infact, saw Starz,Angel,The Babies,Cheap Trick...bands like that all the time.

  • What memories this brings back....

  • Seeing this video is such a treat! It was a great show that night at the old Indiana Theater! And, it was funny because the vibration from the loudness of the music that evening was causing small chunks of the plaster ceiling to fall onto the floor (this was prior to the theater being renovated). But, that theater had good acoustics...the sound was great! Fondest memory was of him shooting the champaign bottle off on"pulled the plug". please post more uncut footage of that night if possible! • The film work is impressive for 8mm - steady, good color and a great angle to shoot the band without being in the front of the stage (getting moshed). STARZ is an overlooked gem - wish I'd known more of them in the day.

  • Thanks for posting ........... i loved these guys work . great music

  • Cool stuff, esp Brick House outtake.

  • One of the best and kick ass bands of the 1970s!

  • one of my all time fav bands - thanx for sharing such a great song and priceless video. Richie Ranno is the man.

  • C'mon everybody....I can't believe nobody has commented on this work by some very dedicated STARZ fans - Old 8MM conversion is time consuming!

Thanks so much for sharing this! BTW - The old dial radio tuner opening is classic!!!

Rate and Comment on these STARZ videos and get the band noticed!
