all rb 2 songs are masters so you can't say anything about that. ghwt's charts are far from accurate. they are alot better than gh3 charts however. and as for the drums. half the time peoples cymbals don't even work and i've never played a drum kit where the hi hat is right in from of me. its just awkward to play. gh singing is way worse anybody can tell you that. you have to be a good singer to do well on gh. yh its a challenge but its stupid beause if you havnt got the voice you cant do it

I'd only get the drums because it's not the whole experience with RB drums, even if they are better and the GH cymbals are a flaming pile of ass.

There's no real difference between the two vocals (other than GH vocals recommending, nay REQUIRING, a voice better than Hendrix himself), so I wouldn't believe anyone who said the GH mic was vastly superior to RB's.

Also, after the initial shock of the piece of shit (AKA: the slider bar), people will use it just like their old ones, so it's a waste.

No, you are somewhat right though. From what I have heard from MANY of my friends who play guitar hero/rock band Guitar Hero is called GUITAR hero for a reason; Guitar Hero is better(generally) for guitar.

Rock Band(from my experience and all drummers I know) Is FAR superior in the drumming area.

It's not a matter of which game is better, it's just the one you prefer. I drum, therfore I want hard drumming songs, and Rock Band 2 has delivered. Yes, I did try GHWT and I did not have as much fun.

1) Guitar Hero was made before Rock Band HOWEVER It's not as if Rock Band copied Guitar Hero, that's just like saying "Brothers in Arms" copied "Call of Duty" NO. Also,Neversoft actually came up with the idea of drums. They were going to make a separate game called "Drum Hero" look it up.

2) I like both games, however I think Guitar Hero 4 will have the edge with the music creation mode.

I agree with you that GHWT is better, but you have to re-think your points. Guitar Hero 1, 2, and Rock the 80s were all made by Harmonix. They left and made Rock Band 1 and 2. The Guitar Hero series had no-one, so Neversoft & Activision stepped in. Guitar Freaks? Kareoke Revolution? DrumMania? All of these are guitar/drum/vocal video games made BEFORE rock band and guitar hero. So really, both of them copied Konami. But this the video game industry, so you can't really say much about it.

I know they didn't invent them but they were going to implement them before Harmonix was.

to me it seems rb2 is more accurate to what a real guitarist would play, judging from the several songs i've seen.

for example at about :14 its palm-muted power chords (represented by 2 note chords on rb2) not a single note (single notes on gh).

also the chords in the chorus (D, A, G, D) are more accurately represented in rb2 given that you only have 5 buttons. lol

though i do like the use of 3-button chords in gh for the chorus as there is a guitar playing open chords which are 'fuller'.
