Curved screen doesnt do anything other than cosmetics? It protects your screen when you put your phone upside down on a flat surface (table for example). Plastic cover isn't solid? It's more solid than the ishit 4 as far as I am concerned. I dropped my nexus s at least 20 times in the past year and it's still running like new. I think I am not the only person who can tolerate some scratches on the back of a phone (that can be easily covered) than some device that breaks from one drop Shit review

I got it at €240 from Italy.

When I go to Settings->applications->storag­e usage, I find "ThinkFree Office" (9.64mb), "Books", "Sound Recorder" etc. but I can't access the programmes (or atleast when I go to the main menu I don't see any of these.

When I try for "voice search"(in main menu), it says "connection problem" "Speak again" & "cancel" but it never works..

Is there someone who found a way out?

This might be out dated by tons of duel core phones but this phone is best everyday tasking phone... camera is pretty decent, all plastic design makes this phone pretty durable, 4 inch super amoled display is just amazing, and 1 ghz single core is still smooth for everyday tasking ;-)

best phone ive ever seen in my life. it takes amazing pictures, with a great flash. it's easy to text on, and good speed. ive had this phone for a while now, & its just amazing. buy it. it may be expensive but its worth it. i pay 38 dollars a month for unlimited texting, unlimited incoming called, 30 cents a minute outgoing, & unlimited internet browsing. amazing phone.

Hey Is this worth getting on a no term contract? Im thinking about getting this with Koodo and they can take off $150 so it would only cost me $200 plus tax. But Its like a contract they take 10% off your bill towards paying it off only problem is I would be only paying like $10 a month so only $12 a year towards paying the $150 off. My qusetion is can I pay like a lump sum every time I get some money? Pay maybe $50 every time I save it, and some how send it to them? Anyways great review!

When i said I'm afraid of the battery life, I said "Which is HTC's problem" because HTC phones are amazing, but generally have poor battery life. Not saying the Nexus Prime will be from HTC, just hoping Samsung/Google can make it so that they overcome the flaw HTC always has.

I own this phone and i have one thing to say. DO NOT get this phone.

Google has been effectivley hiding their major flaw in the phone for the past 6 months and expressed that they will relase a 'fix' for the last 4 months.

If you want proof, go search 'Nexus s Voice search major problem ' on Google (i cant put the link on this comment)

@cornelito88 Nexus S is rated to do 720p video @ 30fps according to the official specs, same as the Galaxy S. The Nexus S gets a bit more talk time from the battery than the Galaxy S. The Nexus S is more compact than the Galaxy S. Other than that, yes they are comparable devices. It's really based on personal preference. I personally prefer the design of the Nexus S better than the galaxy. I can do without v3 bluetooth and an sd card slot.

@track4life2005 For rooting, unlocking and installing MIUI, visit en[dot]miui[dot]com. After you've done that, flash a kernel (look it up on XDA-Developers) that is overclockable. Like Netarchy or Lucid Nexus.

Then you just use SetCPU or something for the overclock itself.

@shnunk1 Well, the overclock took pretty hard on the battery. Stock clock is better, because there really isn't a lot of difference, unless you are gaming. But MIUI - or better yet - CM7 (soon to be CM9) does increase the battery life a lot. If you use a good kernel with deep idle (google it) and various other tweaks, I could get 3 days of battery out of it, with a little texting and a little bit of internet browsing.

Usually I go 2 days on a single charge.
