The thing about Riversong and Queen Elizabeth has me perplexed too, possibly as trayusstudent says it could be offscreen but it just seems a bit sloppy that they would set something up like that and not carry it through. And yeah, the kiss was crap and pointless.

I think Lady Christina is River Song or at the very least related to her. If she is as determined as I think she might be, she might find her way to some other rift in time. Did that cup appear in annother episode? He refrenced the Christmas special and the River song episodes. Of course Camelia echoed the ood's worry. Will the Dr. find room in annother song before it is too late?

I thought it was a bit shit really.

There was no tension.

The final bit with the flying bus could have been so much more exciting, but instead they just decided to make it hover over London a bit. And you never felt like "oh my god! The evil flying stingrays are about to swarm into earth!" 3 floated through, then 5 minutes later the door closed and we saw them fly about a bit. Even a simple cut back and forth would have helped.

Don't get me started on the fly people. Worst costumes EVER!

You have to like how when the 3 stingrays came out and they destroyed them with the missiles the UNIT Commander(Forget the name) yelled

"I can't believe it,Guns that work!"

No tension, agreed, but it was a bit of fun and i enjoyed it as a bit of fun. It would actually have been better to have a few more get through and the closing of the wormhole to have been more of a panic yeah but...meh....FUN!

My two cents. This episode was like a hollow chocolate rabbit. Very well shot (HD=awesome) but lacking on substance. Christina and malcolm annoyed me after awhile. They just seemed stale. Interesting point, there. Fire and Water.

Well it turned out to be a skins wednesday but ye...FUN XD

I thought she was okay, i liked her at first but as the episode went on i began to hate her more and more...and the doctor letting her go despite her being a criminal...what a lovely message for children...

I think that the Easter special was ok, nothing great in my opinion. My favourite special was the Christmas Special with Kylie, I cant remember the name but I loved that one!

Ooooh the ending was a bit epic, with the warning. I'm thinking back to series 3... That is what I think. I enjoyed it but would have liked it better if all the specials were interlinked. I'm seeing a theme developing though - desert was fire and heart, Waters of Mars.. quite obviously is water.

Yeah i think they should maybe have had a link as at the moment they do all feel like standalone episodes

Well, I'd make the final one "earth" and set it on Earth. It could have something to do with controlling the soil itself or summat, thus shifting the entire planet. But that's kinda been done before. I'd like the inal story to be something to do with re-writing timelines, and the Doc trying to stop them doing that. But I'm just wishing here.

About the CGI, they only filmed in it in January and according to RTD, finished everything last Thursday!!

I really enjoyed. Christina with the flying bus was a bit crap, but 10's reasoning for not taking her with him was so sad! I wanted to cry!

4/5 I hope The Waters Of Mars is as dark as the trailer suggested.

hmm, i let them off with CGI cos i heard somewhere that they had to finish a lot of the CGI before the episode had even been filmed. hopefully the waters of mars is dark and fingers crossed for a 31st Oct air date.

I'm also thinking that knocking pattern might be similar to the one heard in the sound of drums XD
