For the Bone Storm phase, I think it's better to say to focus more on staying out of fire, not just dodging the whirlwind. The Fire does much more damage than the whirlwind, and as long as you aren't on his hitbox he won't do too much damage.

He doesn't have an enrage timer, so if you're having trouble keeping tanks alive through the fight. (Perhaps owing repeated healer Bone Spikes), there's no harm in someone switching to healer spec.

our guild got this down after 3 tries... the first 2 were junst unlucky with him ending phase 2 on a healer :(.. any guilds having any trouble with him, just slow it down.. you have all the time in the world and the damage he deals is easy enough to deal with.

I've heard VERY mixed reactions to this boss. Some people say that he is so easy and all four bosses are. Others say that the 1st boss is way too much strain on healers/tanks. Personally I thought this fight was quite easy and we two shotted him. I cannot see a vaild reason why people complain about healers because if you are quick to get out of the frost areas you wont get into any kind of issues. I guess the dps are pretty important in this fight, or maybe the tanks as much?

Imo each person has to play well to some extent but the overall encounter is very simple/easy. DPS needs to avoid taking damage and be quick to take out Bone Spikes. Tanks need to work in sync. Healers need to be ready for damage spikes.

Lord Marrowgar is a fucking joke. I'm not in a super hard core guild or anything, but we downed him on our first attempt ever with no deaths on 10-man. I have yet to try 25-man, so I can't say anything about that. The difficulty only increases greatly as you get further into ICC, however.

lol, I think it's mostly just a gear check boss. It's so fucking easy. Move away from the flames that are incredibly easy to see. His whirlwind is so pathetic, that I think you can heal a clothie if he just stood in it the whole time no problem, and make sure to break the bone spike graveyards, those are the biggest pain in that whole fight. Oh, and if your guild can't do Marrowgar, I don't think you should even be in ICC, no offense. Go gear up in ToC

I tried leveling a druid and it's fast and easy, just level as feral and you'll be OK. I'm 72, soon 73 for the moment.
