@Matrixian21 fair point and thanks for the comment. I don't make it clear in the video that a full scan didn't find anything either. I'm sure that it would work now, but back in May we were reduced to booting offline recovery bootdisks such as Kaspersky, etc. to clear this type of infection.

You need to run in safe mode then RKill if that fails run HijackThis.

I had one like this it was exactly the same but just a name change. It was called System Defender and it was verrryyy annoying.
