  • I'm not at ALL happy with the fact you wrote 'pope's visit to ENGLAND' - he visted SCOTLAND too, and the video shows him coming through EDINBURGH!!!

America dudes, do some geography, get outta you're own country for 2 minutes plz.

  • Principles or Priorities..the state the world is in today; number one is PRAYER!

  • Beautiful video, but mistaken priorities! Fail on Number 1 Reason for Hope (should have been obvious): Jesus Christ.

    Otherwise, well done!

  • Is the Tea party a reason for hope? Really??? I dont think so!!!! The TParty is paid for by the rich and for the rich. This is not Catholic.

  • @polo0750

Nonsense. Look at the principles of the Tea Party - 1) have government spending within its means and not going massively into debt and thus forcing future generations of unborn children to pay the price 2) Subsidiarity - a key Catholic teaching where decisions should be made as local and as close to the people as possible. Not have a far away central bureaucracy control everything 3) Lower taxes. Taxation is theft. The government forcibly takes what is rightfully the people's.

  • Inspiring video - small steps closer to regaining virtue in western civilization. All for God's glory! Keep it up, Catholicvote!!

  • Why are Catholics no longer interested in helping the poor and needy and bettering society? This far right conservative crap isn't the Catholic Church. No wonder people are leaving in droves.

  • @bluprntguy

    I agree 101 % with you!!

  • An excellent video. Inspiring and comforting. Thanks.

  • makes me sick. i want the catholic church i grew up w/ BACK! those were the days when liberation theology was taught - people - especially the poor and dispossessed were taught how to take and use the power of law to create change and better their circumstances through education and critical thinking and about the power of love! this catholicvote conservative values is totally reactionary, based more on fear of the unknown, fear of change, manipulating the masses... makes me sick!

  • @ho2cultcha You're sick alright. Liberation theology is a marxist HERESY condemned by the last two Popes. Get your mind and heart straight before it's too late.

  • @1ndabag my, my, you're quite the thinking man! they must've thrown the brain away w/ the bathwater after they washed it.

liberation theology is what jesus spoke about - only taken to a more overtly political level. the last two popes have spouted off so much bullshit that what they say hardly matters to me or any other person w/ an intact brain and heart.

  • Great! It's wonderful! The hope win!

  • Those are reasons for hope?

    Bahahaha, more christian fascism.

    Right, dont think so.

  • Hope WIN!

  • Love, love, LOVE you guys and everything you stand for and everything you do! God has granted you a wonderful calling, and I for one am so grateful that you have heard and answered! Hugs and prayers for all involved with CatholicVote. :) Be BOLD for God! ~ Love, this small-town girl. <3

  • the POPE!!!??????? REally?????? LOL

  • @Panchee123 Laugh while you can. It won't be funny on judgment day.

  • @1ndabag yeah , ok, The pope will be there with his magic wand. Yeah, the same one who wont pursue that minor problem of molestation in the church. You make me laugh, nice try though. Keep looking up to a vicious group of scum and yes, judgement day will be funny

  • Love it!

  • This video gives me hope and ecourages me to continue advocating and teaching about life.

  • Epic!

  • These are great things that shore up our hope and encourage our faith in Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. May we continue to act very bodly in 2011!

  • Yes, Our hope is in Jesus Christ, but we are mortals and need visual signs of that hope... God works through we humans just as He worked through His son, Jesus Christ...through His love and grace and the love and compassion we share with each other.

  • Our hope is in Jesus Christ not in speculating on what these events might portend.
