Beleive it or not this thing is faster around most tracks than the ZR1, b/c in the turns with a ZR1 you have to be very cautious of oversteer, however this Carbon is extremely quick in the corners.

The Carbon is the Scuderia of the Z06.

@eiz3333 Wrong a properly driven regular Z06 will still beat a GTR, it weighs around 800lbs less and no amount of driving nannies for amatuers can cancel out 800lbs in a race.

Oh and the Carbon's transmission wont brake after a hard launch.

@Greendude33 @Greendude33 Launch control is an issue that correspond to extreme abuse of the car. Is not due to a single launch. I have seen GTR on Ponce Speed Tract @ Puerto Rico w/out Launch control. No issues so far. GT-R Laps Nurburgring in 7m 29s,Corvette ZR1 7:26.4 (with 460lbs less than the gtr, doble the power, almost twice the displacement). And only 2.6 sec of difference. Can you Imagine what a gtr can do with twice its displacement, power and and 460 lbs less? GTR does more withless

LMAO Vspec all Datsun did was add 5hp and lose about 100lbs and the Zr1 still tore it a new one, the GTR can be found at any Nissan dealer the ZR1 however sold out in 09 and the 2010 model you have to place an order ahead of time.

Where as the GTR's are coming back on tow trucks broken.

And by the way ...total of 1,415 ZR1 in 09 were built vs. 12,000 GT-R' /year by Nissan. You know...a company that is bareley standing after bankruptcy can't produce a car with a tiny market demand. Nissan however cannot sell a damn GTR to save their life esp after the recalls.

If you know how to divide use a caalculator and hit 3,489 ÷ 3 years =1163 /year. That is a limited production/sell foe a limited edition car. If you want a way more limited production GT-r take de V-Spec little kid. And what if GM and Ford retook the US market...US is not the whole world. @eiz3333 It's not a dream you fruit loop, the carbon Z06 is alot faster than the GTR now, and it is not all wheel drive like other cars (GTR) and doesn't need a computerized handling system like other cars (GTR). Oh and it only has like 25 hp more than the GTR, wow big deal!!! No turbos needed. GTR is good but not as good as the Carbon!!!

@ZR1Terror GT-R have ~430 hp the 2011 Corvette Carbon have 505 hp. 505-430= 75hp (not 25). The thing that matters is power to weight ratio. Vette 3,175 lb/ 505hp = 0.15hp/lb; GTR 3836lb/430hp =0.11 hp/lb. Vette iis superior in that measure and still cant beat 1/4 mile of the GTR. Corvette 1/4 mile=11.8 sec; GTR 11.6 sec. 0-60 GTR=3.2 sec 0-60 Vette =3.9 sec. With more hp, less weight, bigger engine still can't beat the Godzilla.I used to work as an inter on GM. I know how what Im talking.

First of all the GT-R has 485 hp, ok Mr. GT-R fanboy, second, the GT-R is all-wheel drive which makes any car launch like crazy, do you understand that Mr. Smart pants? To make it fair, put some drag radials on a Z06 regular or carbon and that thing runs 10.74 1/4 mile, if you don't believe me look it up yourself on youtube just type "Ranger Z06".

@ZR1Terror I have been saying this for years. A ZO6 on drag radials is a GTR killer. The ZO6 Carbon has already beat the GTR on 2 tracks and more are coming for sure. I guess he missed most of the ZO6 vs GTR videos from around the world and the ZO6s pulling on it in all cases. We won't discuss what TT ZO6s and heads can ZO6s are doing.
