I do know of several non 03s who deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan countless times, been in firefights, and see IEDs go boom. 03s are not the only Marines that "get dirty" regardless of what moto BS they fed you at ITB. I'm an Iraq vet, by the way.

I would think the reason they weren't deployed would be A. They are some un/lucky bastards, or B. their vocation is not needed in a certain area. Though, I don't see how that is possible with much of any, but I am not one to judge.
