  • You rock!! Thanks for posting this :) I really needed it

  • Wonderful video! Well done, from a Health Care Professionl :) point of view!

  • CAN YOU HELP WITH THE PURCHASE OF OUR HOME WE'VE BEEN HAVING A LOT OF OBSTICLES TO PURCHASE THIS HOME

  • I loved this video, it confirmed what I was suspicious of to begin with. I have frequent episodes of depression and my house is a mess, a huge one at that. I have tried to clean it, and I will get a room completely done, but then I will stop before I am done, and the other rooms just take over, for lack of better phrasing. I will work harder at this, and maybe do a little spell that can maybe help boost my energy so that I might complete the task this time (a couple of days off work might help:)

  • i love my life :)

  • Very nice!!! This video is very honest and sincere.. Great advice for everyone!!! Thank you!!

  • A year after my husband left me witch I was so happy he did I got my closet clearer up and all the cloater in the down staries and all the clearter my husbnd made in my groage out of my grage and I taste all the things that has holes and I grew out of and havn't fit in years to the trash or donated if posabile. Ater I did so I got things I needed. Yet not all to fast and I did brake my Tinker Ball snow globe but I can fix it with a hot glue gun.

  • Thank you so much 

  • Hey, this was really helpful - thanks!

  • Love this! Thanks for posting:)

  • I love your advice! The thing is I've read on this so many times and yet my room is cluttered while I keep the rest of the house clean.... and EVERYTHING is under my bed which is probably why I always feel fatigued no matter how much I sleep. Thank you for the reminder

  • your videos always help me cheer up a bit, I always love when you are outside and I can hear the birds chirping

  • I keep my room clean and also cleanse it spiritually and it makes it feel alot nicer :) and i noticed whan i was depress (trust me ive been through some rough times) my room was never clean or organized and it was dark. My mom forced me to clean up my room and when i did and i opened my blinds it was alot nicer.

    blessed be! )O(

  • I love your videos, because you are so energetic & inspiring. I am not in a good place at the moment, & still living with clutter 2 years after moving to a brand new property. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so find it difficult to do it all on my own. I live in the UK, & I can't do a garage sale, but you have motivated me to do a little each day. Thank you so much for sharing these tips with us. Blessings to you.

  • This is 100% true, though I will add that some people can be clutter as well. Honestly, if a person is draining your energy and represent something negative from your past, you need to distance yourself. The quality of my life has really improved since I realized this about a year ago.

  • You are CCCCCUUUUUTTTTTEEEE !

  • "When in doubt, go without" will help me while I clean today. I'm OCD (recovering... mostly. XD) and a bit of a hoarder (I swear that's genetic because my dad does it too). Hoarding is NOT fun, especially if you hate cramped spaces... I'm not clausterphobic, but if I'm in a small space, I get grumpy. O.o

*writes down "When in doubt, go without"* XD

Now... who else is super-glad that Flora decided to make a youtube account? :P

  • @StarlitNox MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!

btw...I like your user name..very pretty.

  • @avallonmist

    Hee, thanks :3

  • You have just helped me more than you can know. Just luv ya to pieces. So energetic and bubbly. I'm going through this right now, and I started about 3 days ago trying to do one thing at a time and it's working. There's a lot of clutter and bad energy. I'm going for it, thanks.!!!!!!!!!

  • Are you serious? This video covered about 80-90% of the information I had been collecting for the last year! GREAT VIDEO! I wish I would have found it sooner cause it would have saved me A LOT of time. Thanks :)

  • I'm going to try this. As of now, I have a messy room and a messy life. Maybe if I get rid of the stuff I absolutely don't want, it'll be a step in the right direction. I'm going to watch your other videos too. Thank you!

  • Helpful and encouraging. I'm posting you as a favorite next week on our radio website.

  • I agree with you to a degree. I have an aunt who is obsessive about cleaning because she feels dirty due to some past trauma. So not all people who have clean houses are clear headed.

  • Good points

  • This is so true, because when I sit in a cluttered, or dirty or dusty room I cannot relax. Its horrible, I just can't rest. And I think what you see and your environment really does affect your feelings. Clever video.

  • I agree there is a huge link between the two, with hoarding being on the extreme end, and a sign of extreme mental illness. Just being in a clear uncluttered environment FEELS GOOD, that is a sign right there that surrounding yourself with piles and piles of distracting crap shows that something is not right.

  • Fabulous and thanks for posting this.

  • What if the depression is in the DNA??

  • "Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui" is one of my favorite books. It seriously helped me get my life together. Eight years ago, I was stuck in a small city, far away from my boyfriend, and had an apartment full of crap. I read this book, and literally stayed up until 4AM cleaning, and when I showed up to work at 9AM I wasn't even tired. A few months later, I moved in with my now-husband, and have (mostly) given up my pack-rat ways. Clearing clutter rocks!

  • OMG! I have always been like that. From the last 2 years its been an obsession for me to get rid of stuff throughout the house. Everytime I enter the room I see it from the eyes of a person who's never seen it before and that really helps identify what to throw and what to keep. I just donated 9 bags of stuff a week back. I'm so much more careful now when buying new stuff too. I could totally relate to this video! Love listening to you, keep them coming:)

  • This is a very helpful video to me. As I have been working 6 days straight and being full time, it doesn't give me a lot of time to do the things that I would like to do as far as entertainment goes. Soooo, with all work and no play I get depressed and don't ever clean the house. This has inspired me to do so when I have my next day off! Also, you are too cute for words. :D

  • @bbqpanties: Start small. Try clearing out a drawer. If you have time left after that, move on to another drawer. Or a box. The more you get rid of, the more energy you will have. It feels sooooo great to let go.

  • I've been depressed for a few months now because my mom's been having an affair; my room has been unusually super messy during that whole time. Last night I talked to her about it and finally got everything off my chest...and today I cleaned my room.

  • Well spoken. Of all your videos I have seen so far (have reached 080) this is my favourite... I can actually feel what you are saying, makes perfect sense to me. This really helped alot Flora. :D Thank you.

  • Thank you for all your videos. I found them yesterday when I was looking for smudging and it´s really great to see your videos. You have such a positive vibe and you look like you could be on national TV. You need your own show :-)

    Thanks again.

  • What about antique collectors and vintage collection?

  • CPF, I just wanted to thank you for doing this wonderful vid. I had been dealing with my depression (seeing someone for help), and though I felt myself improving I couldn't quite get out of the funk that it had left on my life. I watched this vid, and it inspired me to clean my mess of a room. I'm not done yet, but as I clear more space, I can feel the mood lifting. So thank you for giving me a proactive and obvious action to do that I didn't know would help so much. BB!

  • This is VERY true!!!

  • You're very inspirational :)) Thank you!

    Brightest blessings. Namasté -x-

  • hey! my husband's got ocd and it's hard to get rid of anything in my house. but, yea, it's driving me crazy! i thrive on simplicity, not clutter. any advice???

  • I too have ocd...things need to be in there place with most of us...in that case...make sure you only have one of everything, not mulitpuls....doing it slowly is the best when it comes to living with folks who like things a certain way..you can also do this with just your things too.

  • another problem, he collects things like dvds, cds, mags, etc. one of everything...i wish! thanks for the advice tho, understood.

by the way, i love your collections of stones & stuff. i, too, am into nature collections. i love pine cones, shells, rocks and stuff that falls off my dog...like a whisker, toenail shell, fluff from shedding, and i have some of his baby teeth!

  • Hope my advice helps.

  • hey is it just me or do i rlly see fae wings. i think u have them and a crown on ur head. thats so cool.

  • @trinya3 Yes. Start with getting rid of his chair. Hopefully, he's sitting in it.

  • hehe some'n' some'n'

  • You are 100% right! Yesterday I cleaned and rearranged my room...and I feel a lot better.

    It is great. =]

  • you are SOOO right. I used to think clutter was a sign of wisdom... but it is a tad depressing =(( oh well YAYAYY!YY!!!!!! good video =))

  • Hey, I did a reply and forgot to post it as a video response... so it's on my channel, but anyway... thanks for this, it's really great x

  • I'm guilty of trying to find something, giving up on trying to locate it and going out to buy a new one, only to find what was lost a few days later!! I hate when I do that!! LOL

  • Excellent advise. I recently emptied out my closet and my daughters' closet and had two huge bags of nice cloths, but stuff she had out grown, or t-shirts I never wear.

Best thing was I dropped the bags at a local Good-Will drop off center. So not only did I purge out un-needed stuff, I hopefully helped someone out that was less fortunate. That creates postitive vibes, and that is good :>)

  • I am a clutter free spokes woman to everyone I know...a lot of people say yea right but hey it works and now maybe you will get more people to listen and help themselves and be clutter free!

CLUTTER FREE IS THE WAY TO BE!!! ^_^

  • Yay!!!

  • This is awesome! I am so glad you made this video because I soooo make sure my home is clean and clutter free....I have seen people with crazy cluttered/dirty homes and there are just stressed and everything...I picked up on this many years ago and we always go through all our stuff and we give a lot to thrift stores if we are not using it....

  • i listen to my body too, when i first try one a shirt or something i will have an emotional response of either love, hate, or neutral. so i go largely by that. i never noticed that before but if you pay attention to your body and how it feels when thing happen or are said, when you see something. then you know what you really feel.

  • really great advice, spot on! that is what i live by, "am i in luv?" is what i ask when deciding to get rid of something or before i buy something. if i don't luv it i don't buy it.

  • Very Very Very helpful advice! You have that personality to put someone back up in a good spirited mood. I mean that. All we got to do is watch any of your video, the spirits are uplifted. Very down to Earth and thank Goddess that you are here!

  • A quote from memoirs of a geisha that has been on my mind and been making me feel alot better: "We must not expect happiness. It is not something we deserve. When life goes well, it is a sudden gift; it cannot last forever... "

  • Sometimes the elementals angry at you. Or just "playing". For example: If the gnomes are angry or just companied with you for a long time, you'll start feeling depressed, and your finances start to get low... If the Undines, you will be hysterical and capricious, whimsical and depressive too.

  • this was a great video :) this is complement btw but you look really french here n_n I haven't long got over depression, you are so right with the space clearing thing! my room used to be dark and messy and i was so down! now its so bright and i am feeling great!!!! it took alot of work and determination but i got over it :) Yay!

Lots of love to you flora :)

    love and light x

  • Yay!!! I love my French roots!!!

I love how fast clutter clearing works!!! Yay!!!

  • that's very helpful :* LOVE YOU :* )O(

  • You have read my mind!! In one of your other videos you mention Feng Shui, and I was thinking "I would love for her to do a video on that...cause after moving I am in a state of clutter right now!" It's hard to get motivated, but your videos really get me moving!!! Thank you so much!

  • I have so much junk like everywhere and I barely clean. It's hard to get motivated when your depressed. Sometimes little things seems so hard like to brush my hair or make a phone call. De cluttering may be my cure for depression. But i must do it room by room so its not so overwhelming of how much decluttering i need doing.

Thanks for this video. I think youve put me on track

    bb

  • that's the fengshui book i use and it gives you simple examples and stories of other people who have use declutter in their life and how it has help them

i really recomend that book,i don't know about the other ones,i haven't read those

  • Yay!!! I got that book when I first came out...I said to myself.."Man...I could have wrote this book." I had been doing that allmy life...I have given it to many of my friends.

  • the key is feng shui !

it will change you life for good !

  • You have inspired me to de clutter. Thanks

  • Awesome video. Rang so true.

  • One of my fav quotes is "As your environment goes, so you go."

    Love and Blessings Flora!

    ~jeffery

  • Five Stars!!

  • You have inspired me to do this! I've been sitting on it and sitting on it. Knowing that it needs to be done, but always putting it off. Now I will not :)

You mentioned that having things lying around from the past keeps you holding onto that time in your life. I have a book that I have been writing for years and much of it is symbolic of a past relationship. I have always known that once I finish that book, I will have completely let go of that relationship. I will have closed the book.

  • you made this JUST in time for me the last 2 days were just yucky hopefully ill be back ontop tomorrow :)

looks like i might be doing some house cleaning soon.

  • I love that you always look on the bright side! Great video!

    Blessed BE!!! )O(

  • iv been meaning to clean out my house and my room for a long time and everytime i clean it out i feel better. its time for "spring cleaning" again

  • to me personally clutter and having random, trinkets and junk makes my space feel lived in. more homey, like an 'organized mess'. so is it possibly based off perspective? and depending on your view of clutter, it will determine how it affects you?

  • There is a difference between clutter and trinkets and things you love...clutter is stuff that you don't use, love or want, but it is just laying about....things you never use or things that are broken or things that have a negative impact on your energy....The book by Karen Kingston explains it more thourghly.

  • LOVE this video! It's so true.. I used to hate organizing and cleaning, but now I just LOVE having my surroundings feel homey, peaceful, and somewhat organized! :)

  • I've never thought of clutter this way. I've never been more motivated to go through my things and clean, haha. This is an awesome informative video. :)

  • you have inspired me yet again. I've been majourly stressed with my coursework and because of that I've just left everything and it's all mouted up. So I've decided Tomorrow morning I'm going to have a majour clear out and revamp. =] Amazing vid

    Blessed Be )O(

  • I completely agree with this. I've never had alot of attachment to most things. Anytime I start feeling really stressed out, I always go through things and "de-clutter", and I always feel SO MUCH BETTER! Plus, I'm getting rid of stuff I don't use.

Anyone reading this who isn't sure, try it. You will feel so much more free. I'm sure you'll hear this alot, but awesome video :)

    Blessed Be

  • im totally in love with this video, x x x

  • I really hope you do a feng shui video on day, discussing the basics.

    Blessed be.

  • Dolly will love this video =) I know that she felt her house was cluttered and "unclean" not too long ago!

I get depressed when I don't see the sun for a long time LOL!!!

I try to use St. Johns Wort for Depression. I find that it uplifts me just a little.

    Great Video Flora!!!

    EVERYONE can relate to this!

  • Thanks so much!!

  • yay! great video!
