  • is that a "Caution: Hot" sticker on your guitar? (like KH's one?) if so where did u get it?

i'm tryin to find some authentic looking stickers to "possibly" put on my KH-602...... maybe

  • that was tight man you can play

  • I play for 3 months now and i play this solo so I hope u watch my video and tell what if it's gd or not

  • lol REMEMBER PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

  • is that a "HOT" sticker on ur guitar?

  • ya it is haha.

  • Dude that was AWESOME!!!!!!!

That pinch harmonic actually sounded good too...

  • you are excellent! watched your videos and you always seem to find more or less the right tone. 5-star!

  • Nice! onw of the best kirk solos i love it: )

  • hey was this easy to play or is it hard plz tell me!

  • its easy as now... but it was hard for me back then coz that time i was only starting out in playing lead guitar. thats why my old videos with the red guitar was crappy.

  • the pinch harmonics that you use are fantastic .. how long did it take you to master them so that you could get that sound anytime you wanted ?

  • dnt remember how long it took me but you have to practice pinch harmonics in queue, not just hitting a pinch harmonic by itself over and over as practice, by queuing i mean practice the PH's by playing a set of notes like in a lick with ph's in between so u get used to playing ph's in a lick or solo not just being a master at hitting it by itself.

  • How many frets does that guitar have?!

Loved the solo btw, true class ;)

  • i think there are 26 frets

  • how bout them god damn bull shit

    sweet

  • Well Sir, You are a fucking Pro!!

  • what? you should watch mine then

  • That Was Fucking Excellent =D

I Think I Just Came lol

    Good Work :)

  • good job man! i like this video very much

  • finally someone who played the solo right. props man you did a great job and didnt skimp out on the hard stuff still saying you could play it. keep playing and rock on.

  • that was good as

  • lol 26 Frets

  • this guitar look like a bass

  • wow yeah this is definitely better than your original one that was like amazing 5 stars from mehh

  • Man that rocks, i just finished learning the nothing else matters solo, wich is EASY.. this will be my next solo to learn =D damn metallica is awsome =D

  • the same happened to me, after i learned nothing else matters solo, and after that i learned sandman ^^

  • Very sexy.

  • sick playin dude...just like the original !

5 stars from me, and every single guitar player on this earth !

  • man this is one of the best covers of the solo I have heard! Did you use tabs? Would it be possible for you to send them to me? Thanks in advance!

By the way greetings from Argentina

  • That was f*cking perfect man.. 10 stars

  • Ibanez S series???

  • Not a Metal Axe, but still gives you easyness in the moment of play due to the Construction of this guitar. But I prefer ESP and Jackson 100000 times than this guitar.

  • I was just asking. I know it's not a metal axe, but I'm getting a S540 for christmas and I was wondering how you like your S.

  • Nice one, 5 stars:) but how do u exactly do those artificial harmonics? o, and where did u get the "caution, Hot" sticker from^^

  • man u rock..!!

  • perfect. what kind of effect did you use? just overdrive?

  • very nice learn the undistorted bit at the beginin tho

  • that's the "caution: HOT" sitcker thing, right?

  • yeah its preety wicked its his fav guitar beside the zombie

  • i have a kramer les paul with zw emg's...but i want something with a floyd...i looked at the kirk hammet one and that one is pretty sweet

  • we talking about the kh-3? kh-603? those are good if u like a lespaul, emg's, floyd, then it suits the situation

  • o..wel im just look for a new guitar and checking out my options

  • what kind of price range? well as you cud probably tell by now, im an ESP fan and im most likely to point u to that direction.

  • o..well like where else can u get a 26 fret guitar?

  • u can find various 27 fret ones from maybe ESP LTD or some other brand... u can look it up on the net... personally i dont need 24 frets , the extra 3 frets are just there so that when im bending in the 22nd fret, it will be so easy than say in a 21/22fret fender.

  • WHAT KIND OF GUITAR IS THAT

  • its a crappy GenesiSeries Ex-2 guitar. its gone now, i gave it away.

  • nobody needs to ever say kirk will die his spirit will always be playing metal in metallica ;)

  • dude that shit was good as hell

  • Yeah! your guitar has 26 frets^^ never seen

  • 27 actually is that right gholdwayne? 27 frets?

  • i think on this one i used my old zoom 505II with the peavey distortion, and the JVC RVB-90 Stereo.

  • I lvoe this solo, but which effects are u using and what amp setting do u have?

  • nice man=D

  • Sweet man, I tried this solo, got some tips from your lesson, but played some parts in different positions. Thanks

  • it rox, beyond kirk!

:) pretty good dude, wait until kirk dies, and you can join metallica :P

  • omg, id be devastated, he's my biggest influence :(

  • Nice man =DD

  • that is my favorite solo... in you play it so well... u rock dude

  • pretty awesome man

  • wonderful man

  • lol i agree with the guy below me and i wanna know if u can sent me those tabs man that would be great

  • finally some1 who can hit pinch harmonics

  • Gholdwayne are u in a band or do u just jam by urself?

  • right now im not in a band but playing i sometimes jam with my youth group..

  • but most of the time i jam by myself... its sad huh....

  • is that 26 frets?!?! dear god you need some help, or are the inlays just... scattered about?

  • actually 27... lol scattered about hahaha.

  • metallifreak just use ur ears

  • where did u get that tab from ??

  • i got a lot of tabs for these.. but ultimately i did not need them, they helped me but in the end i just did trial and error of notes.

  • damn that was good

  • thank you very much dood! id like to see other people's versions coz ill learn from em too

  • Wow the best performance of this solo I've seen on youtube :) Really perfect :)

  • overgenerous there are ya! almost perfect it sounds too bright....

  • that is lovely...

  • How long have u been playing anyways man?

  • around 5 yrs now.. i spent the first 3 yrs or so on classical guitar for romantic music(more than words and that) to some rock (creed, nickelback, etc) then the moved on to metal(metallica, a7x) for2 years, and discovering more of what i can do.... it adds up to 5 years.. if id play metal right when i started guitar, maybe i wudv been better tho....

  • Yo man thats just like listening to the song itself, the actual solo. Fucking sweet, thanks for posting that vid where u teach thsi solo by the way, its helpful...to an extent, but it'll never help me play as good as u lol.

  • thank you analduct.. lol.. just practice playing the solo like i did.. its just i just loved how the solo sounds and blends with the rhythm and all.. remember dood.. with hardwork, anyone can surpass a genius...

  • that was great! 5 stars

    tabs please!

  • thank you man! it would take me a while tho to write the tabs, rather than just merely getting getting it from the guitar tab sites but i will do my best if you really want me to write the tabs, ill only do what iv read about writing tabs.

  • not bad but sound not good

  • i got a new sound, it sounds very similar now to the studio sound of kirk.

  • well done

  • thank you :D

  • hey bud, i have a big marshall half stack, epi les paul, and a mt-2 metal zone distortion pedal, any tips as how to be able to bend a note and scream like that? are u using it in clean channel?

  • how much time u got there buddy? wer shud i start? well first off, u have waaay too much better gear than me... my guitar is a knock off "GenesiSeries Ex-2" brand, and my amp is a jvc RV-B90 43W Stereo, but my effects pedal is a zoom 505II which i used a preset patch that used Metal, a little compression with a little highs on the eq, and thats it, if you mean how do i do those 2 high pitch notes, those are pinch harmonics, it dosnt ring much on clean, it shines on distortion.. hope this helps

  • that was perfect man, good job.

  • thank you...

  • fucking sweet dude

    pulled to perfection

by the way...where did you get the caution hot stickler coz i cant find em

  • lol well you know what?!!! i made it hahaha!!

  • i found some at ebay.com(US) thats including the Kirk's Guitar long strip... check it out d00d XD
