Betty, I love your videos. You make cooking seem so easy and have given me the courage to try and succeed at preparing some really great meals for my family. Thank you.
Hi Betty! Love your videos and have tried several of your recipies and like all of them. I wanted to ask what you would serve with your Barbecued Chicken Breasts?
I think this looks so delicious. I was thinking of how useful making a full pan would be. You could have a meal "now" and have something to use for salad, etc.... making the chicken 2 ways can be so useful for those with small families, too.
Yes, and I have "picky" eaters, too! As far as the technique, it is really easy, but I think a lot of people forget about their broiling pan, and that it's just something to look at! Thanks for your sweet comment!
I'm glad to hear from someone that actually makes BBQ chicken breasts this way--I thought there might be some people who would like to see it done another way. I know a lot of people are really picky about their barbecued food! Thanks for your sweet comment!
Mm mm mm, so many of your recipes do make my mouth actually start to waterin'! Guess, I should be getting to tryin' a few instead of spending time just watching. lol Betty, you are so lean and fit, my husband and I wonder if your husband is as well, what with all this great cookin'. Will he ever do a guest appearance?
We're going to be doing some little trips to show you some Kentucky things--like the original Colonel Sander's restaurant, maybe the chicken festival in London, KY, the spoonbread festival in Berea, Keeneland horse racing, Maker's Mark distillery, etc. All are KY things that relate to food and drink! Stay tuned!
My husband has been at the grill outside a couple of times--Memorial Day Onion Burgers, for one. He stays fit; he loves the food, but he also works out (hard) 5 days a week! Thanks for your comment!
I do something similar in my little convection toaster oven. Much more convenient and no pan to wash. Just with spices, not BBQ sauce. I also always eat it over white rice...I will have to try it though. I'll post a video responce when I do mine...
BBQ chicken breasts go with just about anything. I personally would prefer some type of potato or rice or noodle dish, and then a vegetable. I would love bread with it, but sometimes I just skip the bread to save on calories. You can make a great dinner by just adding the items you like--in a balanced way! Thanks for your comment!
Haha! As well as a great cook you're a great person and a super female - u can actually take a dodgy joke like that in superb fashion so u have a sense of humour!
That is a TALL order! I have found that some people are *passionate* about their BBQ sauce--(It's the only *right* way to make BBQ), that I don't think I should touch that one! I expected to be called out for using a bottled sauce this time! I am planning to do barbecue sauce sometime, but I will emphasize that I am not an expert in BBQ, and that is not my specialty! nice idea, though.
That looks great thanks Betty :) usually I would do the first type but add to the marinate garlic, lemon & a touch of dry mint but I've never done any Barbecued Chicken I used just to dip in the sauce after it's done :) This is on my to do list for this Friday
Making this AGAIN tonight, i opened the oven and burned my arm putting the pan in and said "ahhh damn you betty" hahahaaa I Love Her!!! =))))))

Ya her husband is very handsome and trim. Not too many men can get with a woman like betty. Betty is a dying breed.
