  • save a cow eat a vegetarian

  • you city people know nothing about farming or animals. You work in an office and you try and tell farmers and ranchers how to do there jobs? get a life

  • hahahaha u guys are u just stereo typing every farmer now. one black guy steals a car so they all do it. seriously most farmers 97 procent of us try our best through the worse econimic times to do a great job. yes they all cant make it. same as humans how many people die of doktor mistakes. bad nutrition cause of bad parents not teaching their kids to eat healthy and play sports. or just lazy and worry about everything else. drink milk or dont i dont care but stop stereo typing us.

  • This video is so fuckin stupid it is so stupid that I'm about to go buy milk, cheese, and butter. All you people going vegan good that means theres more dairy products for us the normal people

  • This is just sick.

I've been a vegetarian, but I'm working on going Vegan. I'm starting with wearing animal-friendly clothes and trying not to drink milk..which i really don't.

and the end it so sad

animals are living to you know they feel the pain.

  • it is not B.S. I have my own footage of this type of stuff from when I visited a dairy farm in Idaho. I saw this sort of abuse with my own eyes on that farm and on many many farms we passed by while traveling to many different states. The ones in Kansas,Iowa, and Nebraska were way worse than the ones shown here and on my videos. There were hundreds of them jam packed into a small space laying in their own feces mixed with mud, they looking depressed like they had no energy at all ...

  • Holy shit, I'm crying right now. I've been a vegetarian for a year now, but hearing the calf cry for it's mother has inspired me to go Vegan. All I need to do, is find stores that sell non dairy flavored coffee creamers. -sighs- I've drinking coffee loaded with creamer since I was seven (and I'm 23 now, so you do the math) so coffee is going to be my only major problem, since I've always disliked milk

  • This video is all bs if you beleve this bs you are brain dead

  • This video is no different than the time you showed up at a local elementary school and told children not to drink milk because it is actually puss. We painstakingly try to get our children to drink milk.

  • Meat dairy and eggs Actually cooking some up right now ! There are people in this world living in worse conditions than these dairy animals!!

  • Oh, real mature comment, rubbing it in vegan's faces that you don't care about the abuse. And lol, as if one bad situation justifies another bad situation.

  • i come from a farm those are not tits are normal size and plus 1 cows manure = 18 humans not 40 i agree with whiteypain2. that vegannibal can go shove it.

  • Drinking milk from another animal is a sick perverted thing to do! Just stop breeding them for our own sick "pleasures" - meat, dairy, eggs, it's so wrong!

or... you can keep drinking milk and give yourself osteoporosis from all the casein.

  • vvv um you should do some more research dear..

  • Whoever narrated or had any part in making this movie obviously isn't up to par with their facts of the dairy industry. Manure lagoons don't pollute ground water and if they do, how dont septic systems that have leech systems not pollute the ground water? Also if all farmers didn't take care of their cows, then they wouldn't have much of a dairy farm now would they? The only way to make money is by having happy, well cared for animals!

  • funny anough no 1 dose that 2 ther cows in britian!

  • bollocks! cows that are giving a lot of milk means there happy

  • watta pile of wank thats bull shit u lot get the worst clips from the worst videos. most sows are either in barns with room to move about and 24/7 access to food of outside in their feilds running round eating and chewind cud. i work on a dairy farm and we would never dream of treating our cows like that so sort yourself out cuz vegans are all wankers

  • what they forgot to mention is they some times cut off horns because the cows are so depressed and might go insane and attack each other

  • This woman is dumb if it wasnt for dairys this country wouldnt survive all she is is a city slicker that only cares aboutherself and veggies but the damn claves tip their buckets over but o well they get fed 2 times if not 3 times a day and are in shade so what matters they arnt big cows they dont have to have the nesecities 24/7 and some die after birth cause they are born with defectives not malnourished, she needs to work on a dairy and c how tough it is so shove a carrot up your dairy air.

  • I don't agree with the message viva is trying to put across, but i do agree that these dairy farms are disgusting. As a dairy farmer myself i realize that my livelihood directly depends on the welfare of my animals, i do the utmost to look after my cows and calves, my cows run on green meadows every day. Confining calves like that is sick! my calves have a great big paddock to run around in and are rared on an automatic calf feeder, they feed themselves when THEY want. We are not all bad :)

  • Its not people like the ones making this video that is going to destroy farms, its huge corporations like cargil ect. That only care about the bottom dollar. They don't care about enviromental concerns or the welfare of the animals, all the "medications" do is keep them alive long enough to produce. Humans consume to much of this shit. I grew up on small ranches and even worked feedlots, ive seen it all and its out of control. People make excuses of why its okay to consume meat and dairy.

  • we don't need it all anyways..

  • You know nothin ya feckin vegie, go stuff a tasteless vegie burger down your throat. You my friend are a tube!

  • too bad all the waste from dairy cows, goes right back into the earth and is used again...stupid fucking liberals learn you shit

  • the narrator is so misinformed, and i will continue to eat cheese and drink milk, and maybe have veal sometime soon. B

  • u try and run a dairy farm. u must have searched all of america to find those 2 farms. its as simple as this if cows are not looked after they will not produce alot of produce milk. on 99.9percent of farms cows are treated with the up most respect!!!!!!! so go have a good shit for yourselfs

  • the truth is that dairy animals for the most part are treated better that 2/3 of the people of the world. Quality feed, medicine, vaccinations. Just like certain leaders in the world there are bad apples who put a black eye on our industry. We eat the same meat, cheese, veggies as the public and drink the same water, and milk so dont you think it would be to our best interest to take of both animal and enviornment. I love my animals and work hard to take care of them.

  • u ppl need to own a ranch before u should try to tell ppl wut there doin wrong with there shit and animal shit cant contaminate water cuz all it is is grass and water besides i like milk and dont care how they get it

  • well if u dont suprot us all of us farmers will go down and all the cows will die or be turned into beef cows are not a animal that would live wild so shut the fuck up

  • continuation-Thisvideo is a huge exageration at times and a lie at other times, you certainly don't understand cow behavour and picked the worst possible scenes and places to film. You can find abuse in any industry and in any country because some people just don't care and those people should be shut down. I agree cows should be treated very well and socialized with much space but get your story straight please, don't pick and chose so you can manipulate the public into thinking what you want.

  • Wellthe truthis someabuse doeshappen butmost farmersdo agood joband shameon theones that don't,therethe onesthat creata badname. I'm a dairyfarmer andI lovemy cows. They are like pets and treated the best we possibly can. Yes some get sick, some die but don't we all. I'm not saying its good and that we don't care for these sick animals cause we certainly do the best that we and the Vet can. Prevention of health issues is whatwe strivefor. On avery high% offarms avery very high% ofthem arehealthy.

  • I am a dairy farmer, and I want to say, Happy cows produce more milk then unhappy cows, its in the farmers best interest to take care of his animals, and this video is twisting reality. Some cows are abused because people will be people, but the majority of cattle are treated as best as the herdsmen can treat them because his livelyhood dependent on it.

I wouldnt read to much into this video, its bias'd, if you feel strongly against dairy farmers, take a tour of a farm before you condemn it.

  • man ur one dumb bitch

why dont u get a real job

  • Where jobs in meat and dairy decrease, jobs in vegetaion increase! There are other options people. Don't turn your heads because you think there is nothing we can do. We don't even need meat and dairy in our diets. Nature doesn't intend for us to over indulge, especially like this!!!

  • for the people that say that the dairy industry is wrong what should we do, kill them all so they are not treated cruelly (which they hardly ever are treated cruelly) or just release them into the wild where they will surely die so i would just like to know your stupid solution on how u would try to treat them good

  • I am glad to see you took the time to educate yourself on dairy and all of its poorly managed farms in the state. I am also glad to see that you took pictures at all of the farms managed to much higher standards. I will attempt to change my farming practices to one that you approve of. What did I breed these cows for anyway...to relax in green pastures.....or produce milk and cheese to feed the world......Have you ever seen how broccoli is treated????? this is what you be taking a stand against.

  • All the grain that is fed to dairy cows could help feed people first hand. If you eat the right vegetation you can get ALL the nutrients from animal based foods. Plus, by not producing dairy and food animals farms would be able to produce vegetation for human consumption, which would bring down food prices for the consumers and 3rd world countries. Think of all the grains wasted by feeding food animals.. to feed humans. Pretty inefficiant if you ask me!

  • what a load of crap. all the problems with udders packing up happen on beef farms where the cow is left with the calf. in dairys the cows health comes first. mastits (if you don't know what that is the best you stop making crap comments)is best managed in a dairy situation as the cow would kick a calf to death. calf survival rates are low removing the calf from the mother greatly reduces disease, however there is one point i do agree with. pasture based systems are heaps better for cow welfare.

  • finaley some one with coman sence out there i totaley agre with you on your points as i work in the dairy industrey. people woh do not work on dairy farms do not know haw mutch time stockman put into looking after the naimals. in a 12 hour day i will spend at leas 8 of it looking after the cows. by removing the calf from the cow the calf is more liley to survive past 3 months of age and will have a beter imune system than one left with the mother normaly.

  • This is soo soo sad! I am ashamed of the system that lets this inhumane abuse go on!!! I am going to stop drinking milk and eating dairy products! I hope people wake up and see what is going on! These sweet gentle animals don't deserve this cruelty!! Keep informing the public!

  • Go Family Cow!!

  • soooo many false claims by this video. I would love to honestly address each one because I know that there are many people out there who simply watch the video and take what they are fed as truth. I think I'll have to just create my own video about what life is really like on my dairy farm in Kansas. We love and depend on our cows. If they aren't healthy and comfortable, then they don't produce enough milk for us to make a profit.

  • Hi Fosterdairy. I'm sure that you take great care and love your cows. Unfortunately, it takes up a whole lot of land to support livestock. This includes the land we use to grow the food that feeds them. For six billion people and counting, there simply isn't enough acreage on planet earth to raise enough meat and dairy for everyone. Demand has already caused the clear-cutting of the Amazonian Rainforest. Over 1 billion cows pollute the air and the water. It's just irresponsible to keep this up.

  • do you really think we are acting as nature intended by drinking a mix of bovine hormones and fat intended for their young calves to make them grow into massive heifers?? where did we all go wrong hey, and decide that it is essential and healthy to drink another mammal's milk (and way past the age when we even require any milk) and in the quantities that our society consumes? your ignorance and moronic attitudes astounds me.

  • First, milk is the second most natural drink on this planet. And second why do you think farmers are the healthiest people alive. Cows produce their own hormones to produce milk anyway. So if you think you drinking non hormone milk your wrong. The milk comes from their own bst. way past the age where we nned to drink milk? Its better than all the other stuff we're drinking.

  • I agree - milk is the most natural drink on this planet - for infants! and that means milk from their own species! of course cows produce their own hormones - that wqas entirely my point, that milk is a mix of various hormones which are intended for a calf to grow into a cow. now, thinking about that logically, does it seem a good idea for humans to be drinking that and making into various foods?

  • what do you plan to do - milk the women?? you're retarded. I'm sorry - you're not retarded, you're just ignorant as to how and why things are done the way they are. I wish people knew that milk is the most wholesome and safest product available. you're bottle of water has less regulations and inspections and so does any fast food restaurant. the dairy farm gets inspected at least 4x/yr. ALL milk contains hormones - naturally - that includes the milk from your mom IF you were breastfed.

  • I drank my moms milk till I was two :-D

  • toatally right i agree with fosterdairy

  • buddy i hate to say it but he's right. human women produce milk too, but only during the first few weeks to promote fast, healthy, and stable growth. i find it gross that we are drinking it. the fact that so many people develope alergies and intolerances to it should tell you something.

  • My baby's life is supported by my breast milk, and he is nearly two :-D

  • get your facts straight u dumb bitch be more worried about the health care system milk has never been so healthy then it ever was. soils get checked every year people check barns and for proper protocols if you are this stupid dont bother other that care I hope that u get hit by a drunk driver

  • If these people are treating their cows so badly than they are not getting the amount of milk that they could get with healthy cows so if these people are treating their animals this badly than they are losing money

  • Made by vegitarian.. nuff said. Lots of false claims in video. Problem is so many people are removed from agriculture.. in the 1950's like 50% of population had a tie to ag..Now its less than 1% its no wonder that people are so mis-informed. The best way to get accurate info is not to believe this type of propaganda.. Arrange tours of what ever food production you are interested in.. Usually you will even get the farmer his/her self for your tour guide..

  • to bad MOST of the milk and dairy products aren't from these "small family farms" you are refering to. in the 50's it may be true that 50% of the population had ties to ag, thats because large corporations have taken over (capitalism at it's worst). Now its all about the money, stocks, investors. and not about the animals, supporting families, making healthy products. People in america eat and drink to much dairy. PERIOD. And all its doing is supporting corrupt industries and cruelty

  • in the US the dairy industry is purley factory farming and thats coming from some one who works on a dairy in canada. but the part that is saying about calvs wonting companyons ship the reason why theay are kept separat from eatchother is for there own good to prevent the spred of diseas. the farm that is shown in this film has a number off isuses that need sorting but do not condem the dairy industry just because of one farm in a country full of factory farms.

  • do people understand that in order for a dairyfarmer to survive we have to take care of our animals, snot dripping out of their nose is not a disease. they all do it all the time... allll the time. and manure can not seep through the ground and contaminate water. its impossible... why dont u go join greenpeace and drive huge diesel drinking boats to oil rigs and protest u idiots.

  • How is manure seeping through the ground in to our water ways that disperse in to the streams and oceans impossible??

  • Maunure seeping through the dirt, clay, beadrock is impossible because its like mud...... does mud go anywhere? Plus the area that is designated for manure is packed and lined so water cannot even get through. The only way manure can contaminate is by run off. If someone spreads it on a field and it rains hard ya its going places. But it does not seep through the ground. I can drink water from a well thats just feet away from manure storage and never get sick ever!!!

  • Plus cow pastures have streams running through them all the time. Do u think maybe for the last 100 years they have never had an accident in a stream?? Its a miracle the human race is still around. And i would like to meet a fish that has not done his buisness in the water...... and there are alot of fish....

  • Fish have rapidly declined in waters worldwide thanks to our pollution and harvesting.

And also, we are talking about intensive farming, over grazed paddocks with cow dung covering it. Yes, when it rains and floods it causes faecies to seep in to water ways and there has been cases where water has been too contaminated to drink in some parts of America.

  • I agree that fish deposits have declined from pollution and harvesting but its not from manure! Blame huge factorys oil spills etc. Not dairy farms that take a full year to fill a pond sized manure storage. We have to stop being so nit picky on such little effects and go after the real people and real situations that are hurting our enviroment.

  • I'm not saying the dairy industry is the culprit of water pollution, however, some dairy companies need to take more precautions towards their desposits of manure and animal welfare.

  • I've given up dairy for the last 2 weeks and feel wonderful! I had terrible menopause related hot flashes - they are gone! rbgh, mucus - on top of cruelty? no thanks....

  • I guess it just dippens on the dary owner. One dary I go to I alway see dead cows, just because the owner is not feeding them corectly. But if you dring milk buy RBST free or Organic. What is milk without Hormones added to the cow

  • The only way your going to get BST free milk is to buy organic milk. In my area the milk plants only ask the driver if its BST free or not then it gets pumped into a silo. No paper trail what so ever. Which i am against BST but no one has been able to come up with a way to test for BST in milk because it leaves nothing behind so......

  • get your facts straight. they can't test for bst in milk because it is already naturally in the milk. it has ALWAYS been in the milk. bst is not an unhealthy hormone and people should realize that. can you find something worthwhile to complain about

  • im sooo sorry excessive bst extra hormones whatever you wanna call it. and i do have my facts straight i am one of the herdmen that puts that b/s into cows and i dont like it. you wanna complain about facts? maybe you should complain about that stupid video and not my comments. p.s. go screw

  • I drive a truck and pick up milk from six dairy's a day, I agree somewhat with this video when they say the caws are milked like crazy, they shoot Hormones in them and the cows get very stressed but they give a lot of milk. Vary bad for the cow and the people that drink the milk, having said that In 2 years working like that I never seen cows in mud up to there neck.

  • This video is such a load of crap. Its obvious that this person has no idea what the hell they are even talking about, especially at the part where they attempt to diagnose the cows they see on the footage. I've grown up on dairy farms my whole life and have milked on 4 different farms that were operated by 4 separate families. In all the years and at all the places I've worked, never once did I see any of the "evils" that this film lists. Get your facts straight you moron!!!

  • Thank you for this footage. For those who are not influenced to change their diet by this video, think about it this way; how is it ethical to drink another species' milk? It is not healthy. How is it different to drinking a cats' milk? It is really quite revulting.

  • now that is about stupid, if it's so unhealthy than why do so many people drink milk. have you ever seen a healthy vegetarian or health nut no they look like crap

  • There is A1 and A2 milk available. A2 is the healthy one. A1 is not and causes diabetes and other diseases. It also makes your bones weaker due to the animal calcium contained in it. But still, why do we have the right to kill baby animals to steal their mother's milk?

  • Oh so perhaps we should drink human breast milk for the correct amount of calcium in our diets????

  • No I'm saying that we don't need an animals' milk for calcium. Try soy or rice milk and there is high calcium found in dark, leaft vegies such as broccli

  • *Leafy

  • And i realize that calcium is found in vegies but u do know that the equipment that harvests those vegies poors exhaust into the air. I mean........ where does it stop? We all quit eating because it hurts the enviroment? nah lets just screw the dairy farmers that get paided nothing for 120 hour work weeks and then yell and scream that prices are too high when its actually the milk co ops that set prices and get all the benefits. makes sense........

  • Hmmm, I see your point. But I think that coorperations, especially companies handling animals strive for more and more money and find cheaper and cheaper ways of farming live stock that they forget that they are individuals and start treating them as 1 big herd with no feelings. This is what negitively impacts the environment; wasteful chemicals and untreated deposits all in the name of profit.

  • There are very very few coorperations in the dairy buisness. Your thinking more along the lines of meat coorperations. And do u know that the most happy cow is a cow that is left alone. And in turn a happy cow is one that makes way more milk than a stressed cow. So as a dairy farmer would it pay to stress your cows out?

  • And the only chemicals that are used on a dairy farm are for fields(which are also used on vegies) and cleaning our milking equipment so everyone can have a safe glass of milk. Dairys use so much less chemicals that say crop farmers its rediculous.

  • If your in the dairy buisness to make money your crazy. Most barely bring home enough to support a family. There is only one reason to be a dairy farmer. And that is to wake up and go to bed with a sense of pride. We love what we do. And that is why we work so hard for it and will defend it untill the day we die.

  • SpottyPony says that drinking cow's milk is unnatural, well how about all the other things humans do, like driving cars wearing cloths and cooking their food before eating it!

  • Yes. Humans are very unnatural beings. However, some things are sillier than others... Such as drinking cows' milk. I think it's also sick. But the problem is that we have all become desensitised to all of the digusting things people do in the world.

  • If it were up to you to make this choice would you rid of all agriculture dealing with animals, thus eliminating millions of jobs for hard working people around the world "who do not intend to harm animals", which is the sole source of income for these people. Or would you leave the farmers alone and stop stereotyping all farmers as animal beaters and enemies of nature. There is a right way to approach the issue and there are wrong....think before you speak

  • Well, I think that partly comes down to the world being overpopulated. However, anyway people do this job, people are still harming the animals either phycologically or physically, knowing it or not.

  • What is your solution, and why not concentrate on the enslaved and starving children around the world, plus have you ever spent a day in the shoes of a dairy or any other livestock farmer?

  • I would love to concentrate on the starving and enslaved children, but unfortunately, most of the govenments' money is being poured in the pointless industries such as the dairy industry. I mean, we don't need dairy to survive so why can't that money go towards people that need helping?

  • How do you intend to stop all uses of animals my merely boycotting animal products. There is too much of a demand for these products for it to just go "out of style". And also, cows are not treated that bad, as William Lyon Phelps once said "If happiness truly consisted of physical ease and freedom from care, then the happiest individual would not be either a man or a woman, it would be, I think, an American cow".

  • Well they have done tests on animals and what makes them happy and being able to nurse their young happens to be one of them. Being apart from their young is great distress to mother and calf. By not buying animal products I know I'm not contributing to any cruelty. I don't expect to stop it completely.

  • get a fucking life

  • (i am not justifying animal abuse by the way, and some of the content that was shown does not make me happy, but there is good and bad, not only bad) beside that, i don't understand why you guys don't want to eat meat, while your dog or cat are just eating it.

that was al I have to say, thank you

  • "beside that, i don't understand why you guys don't want to eat meat, while your dog or cat are just eating it."

So by your logic, I should just go around shooting people - because others are doing it, I might as well too. Using the excuse that it is ok to cause some suffering because others are worse than us is a cop-out. We should do what we can as individuals to end the suffering in this world; that is the only way things will change.

  • Vegan cat and dog is available.

  • Just go to a dairy farm and ask the people there if they can explain what is going on there, to help you out of these pathetic dreams. Of course incidents happen, but this video makes it seem like the hole dairy industry is bad. that hurts me as a proud dairy man, because i know that most farmers are doing a good job keeping their cows healthy and "happy".

  • the person who posted this video is full of sh*t indeed. they have just been tryin to get te worst images that they could get. They only show sick and death animals and rush to a farm when the weather has been bad to film cows in the mud, it is just crazy. I don't go to a mortiarium and a prison to show what a human live is about.

  • don't critisize a farmer with your mouthfull!!!

  • This video is a total load of shit...... I cant believe someone would take ther time to do this... come on!!!!!!!!!

  • As a dairy farmer on a family farm, I'm insulted by this video and its slanderous message. This video took the worst examples of factory farms and made it out to be the industry standard. Most farms are not this way at all. I know almost all the farmers out there take a lot of pride in their work. Obviously the same isn't true about whoever made this crock-of-shit video.

  • This is not what all dairy farms are like. We have a close family friend that owns a diary farm and there are NOT treated like this. They're are free to roam GREEN pastures when they want and fed hormone-free food and provided fresh water, even when they're being milked. As for the calves, they're also treated humanely (and very fun to feed.) Any cow that is injured on this farm (which is far and few) is quickly put down and out of it's misery. Thats what dairy farms should be like.

  • Well, this IS video - not sure how you make something 'full of shit' when you can see it with your own two eye's ~ even ignoring the verbal peice of this video you can SEE the facts.

If some farmers take special care of their cattle they SHOULD be PISSED at those farmers who DO treat animals like shown in this video.

  • farmgirl is rite this is a crock of shit

  • Wow! This video and the people who have made are full of shit. I'm a dairy farmer and I take special care of my cattle. You people are so stupid and should be made to see what we do for our animals. I hope all of you suffer from bone disorders for no using dairy products.

  • ive seen farms like these the majority dont but this happenes

  • Well, this IS video - not sure how you make something 'full of shit' when you can see it with your own two eye's ~ even ignoring the verbal peice of this video you can SEE the facts.

Maybe if you take special care of your cattle you SHOULD be PISSED at those farmers who DO treat animals like shown in this video.

  • rckklim it would more likely be you and all other dairy consumers here who wil suffer osteoporosis - do you really think its natural for humans to be drinking all those cow hormones just to get calcium?? you know, there's also heaps of calcium in CONCRETE but that doesn't mean we should be eating that too! people have been brainwashed, HATE the all powerful dairy industry hey...

  • hahahaha! lol! This video will just promote their agenda as a VEGETARIAN organization. I could have been symphatetic if this video was not taken from a vegetarian group. I symphatized with this cows, but they are cultured cows deemed to end up producing our daily milk supply or a food for non-vegetarian consumers!!!Get it?

  • I AGREE THIS PERSON DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!! It makes me so mad when people talk about the dairy industry when they don't know the first thing about it!! DON'T BELIEVE THIS VIDEO!!!!

  • they should create some kind of law to limit the amount of cows per farm....that way farmers can maintain what they can handle.

  • This was the most ignorant video i have ever seen. They kept showing pictures of dead cows. News flash animals die some times. I can gaurantee you that pets have a higher mortality rate than livestock do. What people don't realize is that livestock under stress like this aren't going to produce as well so people aren't going to put them under these conditions.

  • If people did not eat meat or dairy products, we'd have no use for cows. Cows would become extinct if it wasn't for farmers raising them. Is it better for cows to become extinct than to exist for the use of human consumption?

  • This video was pathetic. I seriously laughed the whole way through. The sad part is that people watch these videos and think that all farms ar "bad" like these ones, which weren't even that bad to begin with. People like her make me sick.

  • It must have taken a lot of work to put that pack of shit together. Calves are taken from theyre dam right away to make it less stressful later. They are housed seperate from one another to decrease the spread of disease by sucking on one another. They crap a lot because they eat a lot because they produce a lot... Make sense? Take it from a farm kid, dont quit your cosy office job

  • what is this i hear about cows contributing to the green house affect what are they up 2? (climate change is a money racket) fancy burger king tonight catch yous later

  • you have no idea about cows do you? cows naturaly produse alot of saliva its not a sign of illness they naturaly shit every hour and they are provided with the healthyest diet possible because healthy cows give more milk duhhh? you have no idea abotu dairy farming at all that was the most biased uneducational video iv ever seen n i bet youve never even seen a farm in england have you?

  • I buy all of my milk, butter, cream, and butter milk from a farm. Their cows a treated humanely. They are always visible and are not confined in any way. They are also completely free right up until they get harvested. Which is where I get my meat too. This video is accurate as far as commercial cow goes, but there are quite a few farmers that do not fit that description. I am an avid farmer supporter because of this.

  • wot a crack o shit dis is life flower leave your fairytale farmin ideas in your bed

farmin is a business its hard enuff as it is u ppl dnt understand how u c 1 bad case and u porcive everything else 2 b like that come other nd film in england nd u will c happy cows happly calves oat u wnt

  • Hello ebonics - try using english when you want someone to take you seriously.

  • sure what else would those cows be doing. We are the top of the food chain rejoyce and stop trying to makr dairy and meat eaters feel bad. I am now off to McDonalds for a cheese burger washed down with a strawberry MILK shake

  • I watched this video and wanted to let people know that not all dairy farms are handled like this one! We are a small Jersey dairy farm and our cows are handled with care and love. They are our income. Support your local small dairy farmer! It is amazing how some people can video the bad on a dairy farm and not show some of the farms that care about their animals. We love our cows and calfs and wouldn't want any other kind of live style.

  • i luagh when i hear people say cows are a cuase of greenhouse gases cuz just think about what people put in there bodys daily ! oh and yes we people fart and there is a hell alot more people then cows so wouldn't we be worse ?

  • Sorry bigturd bird...we are too busy feeding the WHOLE world, so dont give me that shit. Its called supply and demand...

  • u yanks r curel bastards u need to look at how us aussies farm... better off and less cruel

  • This young woman is not entirely accurate with her statistics, and is obviously presenting a very biased view of dairy farming. True, the large farms are run very differently than small farms. Large or small, they are both businesses that are necessary to our food chain and to our country. The next time you take a bite of food--whatever it is--thank a farmer. It's a hard life, and not everyone is up to the task.

  • Dairy is not natural to our food chain, unless you're talking specifically of humans under the age of 2.

  • this video is a wast of time and money thoes cows are happy and healthy and just like life there will be some death so dont make it sound so bad next time you go to make a video get someone who has a clue to what there talking about

  • on the dairy farm i work the calves r not used 4 veal the cows r very well looked after and the all go out 2 pasture

  • This video sucks... The girl dosnt know wut shes talking about...I'm pretty sure they would fill the water back up to if it got nocked over..Farming is an awesome job!

  • it is obviously cruel. farming is cool yes- i love farms etc but u have to admit that theese examples r cruel and veal calves r better off dead

  • This video is BS she doesn't know what she is talking about sounds like a outsider that has a agenda and is twisting the facts.

  • pigfarmer766 is rite

  • Everybody lives in his own dream world, world is overpopulated ie we need overproduction if we are to sustain this insane world. Vegans please have a look at the products u consume nd guess d origin: soap, cosmetics (yes girls)pet lovers ur dog loves cow... balanced ppl not sure what side to take: eat meat moderately and if you care for animal welfare go for certified products coming from extensive farms. I realize videos can be a shock for some urban ppl but try to see things in perspective

  • As a Dairy Farmer, and growing up on a Dairy Farm, some of your points are true. Some farms are managed poorly and inhumane. But some are managed really well. I myself pratice rotational grazing and I do not believe in "pushing" the cows. My cows are healthy, clean and fed according to their diet needs. It is really sad that you feel we should eliminate dairy, instead of fixing it

  • thank you adtoms2517 for your comments. My grandfather and father were dairymen, (although they admitted the milking by hand was a pain). I feel strongly that a well managed dairy or beef farm isn't going to let calves starve to death, isn't going to let cows wallow in muck as the farmer wants the cows to be healthy too. Also, I heard years ago that those ponds are lined...was a federal mandate if I'm not mistaken. Arrrrgh...creative editing.

  • well said!!

  • Woot! Farming is the ultimate occupation its the 2nd most hazardous job in the US. Pennsylvania FFA RULES!

  • I grew up on a farm in Missouri and we had a couple cows for the milk. In high school I worked on a dairy all the issues you brought up is true on the large commercial dairies but on the other hand the vast number of dairy farms are not run that way. Please give a balanced view. Contact me personally and I will share with you a humane dairy that we are planning and our humane practices.

  • 1951boyborn, congratulations on your future plans for the dairy--WE NEED MORE FARMERS LIKE YOU! Also, you should upload video of this farm for everybody to see to promote humane practices. We are sick of seeing the commercial bullshit! These huge farms are only taking proceeds away from smaller farms while producing an insane amount of meat. If we could be more conservative with our eating and focus on supporting people like you, we'd be much better off.

  • The large methane ponds in this video emit greenhouse gases which contribute greatly to global warming. Unfortunately we probably won't hear that from most mainstream sources, which just tell us to recycle, drive a Prius, and change our light bulbs, which are all noble things to do, but miss the number one thing. Stop eating animal products. It's simple and not as much of a sacrifice as you may think.

  • u r a total tree hughing fuck up

kill them eat them thats my moto

  • Farmers feed you green tree faggots to ya know where the fuck you thing all the food you eat comes from ? so fuck off

  • i luagh when i see these things you people have your heads for far up your ass it's not funny me being a farmer i know more then you and why would we treat them like shit cuz if they are they are no good to us

  • well if you're are so smart should find a better job than being a farmer.

  • farming is the best life style ever i love it yea sometimes ur milking the cows and they shit on ur head but hey thats life this video is fucked and we dairy farmers in canada stand to gether against ppl like u

  • non-dairy people in california stand against you

  • not every farm is like that... just these examples. u have 2 admit that veal is cruel

  • that is so bad ok. real .bad.

  • Iamdegenatron your full of shit and lies

  • You Must Be The Change You wish To See In The World

  • these farms are bad, but no way am i going vegan. dont think you vegans are any better than meat lovers, tons of wild animals get crumpled up and scrawled under those huge wheat harvesting machines that have those spinner things. Not only do you vegans "support" that like we meatlovers "support" animal cruelty, you also reduce the number of green plants on our planet and are a greater cause for global warming than other ppl (normal ppl = car, vegans = car + eating all our goddamn greens)

  • iamdegenatron:

    1) not all vegans support that meat eaters support animal cruelty. but the generalization makes you seem ignorant right off the bat.

    2) green plants are a repleshinable source

  • 3) tons of vegetation is fed to farm animals that could be fed to humans. eating meat is one thing, but when you create so many damned animals that you have to feed, you aren't helping people at all. a cow is fed for a year. and then it feeds a relative handful of people for a short time. it doesnt add up.

excessive meat eating = car + cows that eats a ton of grain and feed relatively few people

vegan = car + replenishible greens

  • I farm u eat! get over yourself.

  • go off yourself

  • i work on a dairy farm in new zealand and i have to say we look after our girls 100% times better than that. that is fucking discusting seeing animals treated like shit. it's not a hard job, those people need to get off their asses and put more effort into running a dairy farm.

  • They would make your farm look just as bad. People that make these videos go looking for the worst things they can find they will show only the very worst things they can find. I live and work on farms soo i know that cows are typiclly not treated badly because a badly treated cows doesnt give a good amount of milk.

  • that video was pritty sad cows in newzealand are the most looked after cows in the world they are free to walk around in nice long green grass an you just can tell how happy they are and by the way uk cows are just like usa ones an they also feed them on shit food an hormones weres in newzealand thats all band.

  • Caves die at birth just like humans and farmers lose money every time this happens

But if you don't like dairy farms you could always buy and milk your own

  • saliva from the mouth can also mean they are cows

You can feed a cow all day and they will still want more

Why wast the meat if its still alive

Those who violate the law are severely fined.

The manure ponds that are lined with thick rubber and wast is used to fertilize the farmers crops

"if there is a leak they lose money"

Some caves are taken a few hours after birth so they can be properly taken care of.

  • You right on great response.

The lagoons are also lined with clay.

Those cows look happy to me cant she see them coming up to her the are curious not unhappy.

I don't see anything bad with the first dairy farm and what investigation shes talking about shes full of it.

  • You have no idea What you are takking about This video was only showing what you wanted people to see Next time show the big picture and get it right what u are talking about lady.

  • Ok thanks for that tour of a routine day on a dairy farm in America. idiot go cry to someone who cares.

  • fuck you. have a good time in hell.

  • Dude america's farms are bad!!!! the u.k has nothing ike this much better here

  • Do any of u lot have any idea of farming at all? propoganda.... a load of crap if u ask me

  • Very sad treatment over there, have a look at my video of cows from New Zealand!!!

  • Perhaps people should consider eliminating processed foods and fast foods from their diets. It's society's aggressive selfish desire for convenience and comfort that lead to a need for higher quantity, lower prices and greater availability of product. This is what leads to factory farms. Producers of healthy-natural meats, dairy, and produce must compete with imported foods, processed foods, sugar, concentrated and supplemental drinks.

  • LoL welcome to the world. They limit the cows movement so they dont develop muscles. The meat gets hard and dry. But if they cant move they cant get muscles and if they dont have muscles their meat is tender is juicy and good :)

  • Thanks for putting that on here :)
