  • Sounds more like Jojo Mayer

  • Keep the episodes coming MJ

  • I never even knew you could change Shutter speed, aperture, or ISO on point and shoots xD lmfao. Well I knew you could, but I didn't think there was much of a range at all. Not from any of the ones I owned lol

  • BAD

  • Good points highlighted here.

  • He sounds like Michael Jackson!

  • HE DOES!!!

  • I didnt touch that kid, hahaha yeah u r right

  • tamron 90mm??? is that good for portraits?

  • yes, around 100mm is ideal for portraits to create background blur

  • hrm, my friend wants me to shoot photos for her fasion show in a few days, but i've never used a dslr before, but im pretty quick with any sort of technology once i've played around with it for 10 mins.

    Do u recommend any settings?

  • i suggest you stay on "auto" ...just adjust some settiing like the focus and flashes. this way you can stay with your focus on your friend instead of other people of object. some of this tuts are for non moving objects or daylight shots. but if you and your friends are indoors... stay on auto. goodluck.

  • using DSLR is not for kids n should be out of reach of them! better take ur friend to a professional like me lols hehe!

  • In a brigh daylight it's not that much difference between pictures taken with a compact and a DSLR, right? I mean, I wouldn't be able to tell a difference. Also, why do you need the mirror and prism mechanism (or rangefinder for that matter) if you can "see" with the sensor? I mean, with film, you can't see with the film, so you need those mirrors to view through the lens. But with digital, you don't really need that. I think that Micro Four-Thirds standard finally got it right.

  • There are many many many things you can't do with a ps camera. Just take at look at the tech spec on the optics of the lens on your ps camera. They are really only good for taking wide pictures. Also, the sensore in a ps camera is TINY and creates a lot of noise, especially in low light.

  • This guy really DOES sound like MJ!

  • What is the correct way to keep digital SLR camera with attached lens, in a bag or otherwise?

  • what is the best camera to get for a budget of 1000 dollars?

  • canon 450d

  • this guy sounds alot like MJ

  • wow i didnt know michael jackson a into photography!!! hheheh just kidding nice vid keep em coming

  • How about the downsides? I think pictures got worse after millions of idiots bought DSLRs and don't know how to use them!

  • Amen

  • there are no downside!....except the price...

  • @gheara23

and you can't put it in your pocket

  • @gheara23 And weight and size and shutter noise and being confused with a terrorist with a missile launcher.

  • @regionalsaint Indeed. Idiots should stick to normal digital cameras and cellphones.

  • @regionalsaint true mostly when people saw the canon t2i, practice makes perfect.

  • @regionalsaint ...you must be an idiot...i highly doubt that you knew how to use your dslr when you first got it...its people like you that make pictures worse because your negativity spreads through others

  • Great Video. Love it.

  • What's the word on a DSLR vs. a Bridge camera such as the Canon SX10IS?

  • Bigger sensor = less noise, greater dynamic range and better control over depth of field.

It's all about image quality vs. convenience.

  • Isnt the music from apollo 13???

  • It's not.

  • saving private ryan!

  • wow dude! 5 stars! great tutorial! i even saw ur flickr! theyr amazing! especially for a newbie like me... please put up more vids and do explain the jargon and what they do... aperture, shutter speed, focal point etc... would be great if you could demonstrate everything man!
