@TheToilet911 The drug smugglers are lending monies to the poor farmers who in turn are still growing poppies, when the Taliban or the government destroys these poppies the poor farmers are forced to give their children to the smugglers until they can find a way to pay them back. In many cases the children are never heard from again, the young girls are married off when they get old enough and many families are forced to live in hiding in fear of being killed by these smugglers.
@TheToilet911 No I'm not pro Taliban I was pointing out the conflicting situation created by the growing of poppies as it relates to the poor farmers and the hardships faced by these people. The government supposedly wants these farmers to raise corn and other crops while the seeds in which to do this never reaches most of them. To sum it up I care more about the poor people of this country that are being used and abused by the Taliban, smugglers, and the government.

@nafism6969 - the Ummah is a world body but sadly - we can't manifest that into a Khalifah (which should be the primary thing we work to restore). at the same time, we can't just wave a magic wand and bring about this coordination. as Allah states in Quran, we are only responsible for ourselves...yet our individual actions can and does have an effect on others - starting the process where one day (insha'Allah), even if it is long after our death, the unity and cohesion u speak of comes about.

That is different from a selfless act in which one is defending the Ummah and seeking martyrdom. don't blindly follow ppl, but instead, think yourself about the *context* of an ayah or hadith, and consider the intentions of a person's action. when one embarks on a suicide mission - there is no guarantee of success (it is a huge risk). if u just want to kill yourself - that is easy (and very low risk).

In many cases the children are never heard from again, the young girls are married off when they get old enough and many families are forced to live in hiding in fear of being killed by these smugglers.

The government supposedly wants these farmers to raise corn and other crops while the seeds in which to do this never reaches most of them. That is different from a selfless act in which one is defending the Ummah and seeking martyrdom. don't blindly follow ppl, but instead, think yourself about the *context* of an ayah or hadith, and consider the intentions of a person's action. when one embarks on a suicide mission - there is no guarantee of success (it is a huge risk). if u just want to kill yourself - that is easy (and very low risk).

@AbuHamzaAndCo - it isn't about respect, emotions, or opinions. we follow the Quran of Allah (swt) and the Sunnah of the RasooliLLAH (saaws) - as best we can at least, and based on our own understanding. if something is permitted by way of exception (such as through the Quranic injuction of the law of qisas, or through an example such as the raids on the trade caravans of the bombings conducted during the night raids)...that we must put our emotions and desires aside. w'salam

@AbuHamzaAndCo - that makes no sense. how do u know that someone bombs others in the middle of a crowd, while 911 was an inside job? u are aren't following Islam because you are taking news (or conspiracy i should say) sources based on your desires and not based on what the Muslims themselves have said. The Mujahideen have admitted to 911, and they have denied market and mosque bombings that kill randomly (and actually hurt their own cause). for the latter, look no further than blackwater.
